The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: New York discovers that all is not as it seems on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT in "Forbidden Fruit":

The CSIs appear to have an open and shut case after a murder suspect is impaled during a police pursuit, but it turns out the investigation is just beginning.

This is John Behring's first turn in the director's chair for New York. Jill Abbinanti wrote the episode with executive producer Peter Lenkov. Abbinanti previously wrote the season four episode "Buzzkill". Lenkov has 15 writing credits for the show, most recently for "The Box".
