Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) may have been named in People magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive" list last year – but he'll be the first to tell you that he doesn't think his body is that great.

In an interview with CBS's The Insider, Rodriguez mentioned how he rose to fame after appearing in the Jennifer Lopez music video If You Had My Love, and how he thought his six pack could be a lot better.

"I really don't have great abs, that's why I'm not showing them to you!" he told presenter Ananda Lewis. "If I had like the Brad Pitt abs going on, I'd be happy to show them to you. They're not."

Rodriguez also mentioned how he felt that "sexy" was an internal thing. "I think it just comes in so many ways- I mean yeah, of course it has to do with physically how someone looks, if that's attractive to you or not... it's how you carry yourself, and the way you move, and talk, and look at someone when you talk to them -- I think has to do with so much," he said.

People's accolade last year also appears to have made Rodriguez a little worried about the image he gives off – or more accurately, the image he and his girlfriend's dog give off! "He's one of those little dogs you don't really feel comfortable walking around, especially when you're one of the sexiest men alive! You don't really wanna walk around with a two-pound dog -- that's not a good look!" he said.

The actor also discussed a few of his hobbies including reading and playing the guitar. He's also due to appear in the upcoming film "Thanks to Gravity" opposite Sean Astin, best known as Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The film is scheduled for release next year.
