  • Lisa Sheridan, star of ABC's new SF show Invasion, recently spoke to the Los Angeles Daily News about what it was like seeing her real-life husband Ron Livingston being spanked by a black leather-clad Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) in the 1999 film "Body Shots." "She and Ron had this very hot, sexy scene, and I was a little unnerved," Sheridan said. "But when I actually met Emily, I was so relieved. She's such a normal, very cool girl. She's just great, and I really liked her."

  • CarmineGiovinazzo.net has posted 35 new screencaps of Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, a movie starring Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer).

  • Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and his Lt. Dan Band have two new concerts lined up for next week. On Monday, they will be performing at the Disabled American Veterans Conference, while a day later they will be giving a private concert at the USS Midway, San Diego's Aircraft Carrier Museum.

  • The saga of the ever-changing farewell message on the official web site of Sofia Milos (Yelina Salas) continues, as the actress has now updated the message to say "it wasn't [her] decision" to leave the show. "Sorry," she continued. "But also know there is always new opportunities! I'll keep you posted on NEW things to come... and of course there will be plenty of CSI:Miami re-runs with Yelina Salas in it. Ciao! See you soon with something new, promise."

  • The Futon Critic reports that TNT has greenlit production on Grace, a drama pilot that was co-created by CSI: Miami executive producer Nancy Miller. The show deals with a young female cop who sees her wish granted for her partner to be saved from a car crash, but in exchange has to promise an angel to change her life for the better.

  • CSI co-producing company Alliance Atlantis recently announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2005, saying that the success of the CSI franchise led to revenue growth of over 60% for its entertainment division.

  • Now that Roswell's third season is out on DVD, JustAdam.net has posted new screencaps for five more episodes from the WB/UPN sci-fi series that starred Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko).

  • CSI ruled supreme in the annual TV Guide Readers' Poll organised by the Canadian TV Guide, winning in every category for which it was nominated. Some of the titles won by CSI included "Favorite Eyecandy" for David Caruso (Horatio Caine), "Favorite Un-Couple" for Sara Sidle and Gil Grissom, and "Eycandy, Too" for Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows).

  • According to the European CSI forum, the Swedish TV station Kanal 5 will begin broadcasting new episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from Monday the 15th of August at 21:00 onwards.

  • In late 2002, Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) attended the Macy's and American Express 20th Annv. HIV/AIDS Fundraiser. The JFO has been able to uncover three photos from the event.

  • And finally, new shots of William Petersen (Gil Grissom) in his old film project Present Tense, Past Perfect are available at the William Petersen Attic.

  • According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, George Eads (Nick Stokes) managed to win $20,000 on video poker last week while he was in town to do location shooting for CSI.

  • Actress Tamara Davies, who will co-star in the upcoming Steven Seagal film Black Dawn, has announced she will be playing a "desperate housewife, looking for attention in the wrong places, only to end in tragedy," on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation next season.

  • CBS has announced that this years Emmy Awards ceremony, during which Quentin Tarantino may possibly win a Best Directing Emmy for his work on last year's CSI season finale, will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres. "You know me, any excuse to put on a dress," DeGeneres said. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the 18th of September.
