For the first time in over a month, next week CBS will be airing more than one fresh CSI episode. The network recently issued official press releases for both new episodes it will be showing.

Even though CSI: New York and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will be showing originals this week, Monday's CSI: Miami will be a repeat of the mid-October episode "Under Suspicion." In this episode, the CSIs must race against time when all evidence in a murder case points to Horatio. When a murdered woman is discovered, Horatio admits that he was seeing her and that he was the last person to see her alive. Although the evidence logically points to Horatio as the killer, our CSIs must now dig deeper to find the real killer and learn who would have the motive and the method to frame him.

On Wednesday at 10:00pm, CBS will be showing the new CSI: New York episode Wasted." Here's how the network described the episode:

Mac, Danny and Dr. Hawkes are puzzled by the death of a model coated only in body paint who collapses on a runway while displaying a designer's spring swimsuit during a fashion show. Mac, Danny and Dr. Hawkes investigate if her death was caused by the product that coated her -- but their case becomes even more complex when a second model is found dead in a cargo area staged outside of the fashion show. Meanwhile, a terminally ill patient walks into the precinct and confesses to the murder of his doctor. Stella, Det. Flack and Lindsay question the suspect's confession when they realize the doctor was moonlighting as an alternative healer.

"Wasted" was directed by Jeff Thomas, who's a newcomer to the CSI franchise, and seemingly to TV directing in general, as his only other credit in the IMDB is for an episode of Without A Trace. The episode was co-written by Bill Haynes, who previously provided the story of "The Fall," and Pam Veasey, who this season also already worked on "Summer in the City" and "City of the Dolls."

The following actors will be making a guest appearance on "Wasted:"

  • Robert Joy as Dr. Sid Hammerback
  • A.J. Buckley as Adam Ross
  • Sam Littlefield as Paul Richmont
  • Kelly Overton as Lynette Richmont
  • Lee Burns as Gavin Ruvelle
  • Will McCormack as Todd Miller
  • Mark Steines as Himself
  • Kristin Proctor as Tracy Colton
  • Claudia Mason as Serena Portinova
  • Gayle Brown as Nadia Roque
  • Katie A. Keane as Dr. Rachel Jeffries
  • Andrew Patrick Rolston as Peter Rector
  • Lisa Gleave as Jennifer Fazotti

Besides recurring actors Robert Joy and A.J. Buckley, only Lee Burns has made a previous appearance on any of the CSI shows. Last season, he played Kelvin Russel in the fifth-season original CSI episode "Big Middle." An interesting guest star is Mark Steines, who's one of the hosts of Entertainment Tonight, and who will be playing himself, who is on hand to cover the spring fashion show.

On Thursday at 9:00pm, CBS is planning to air "Daddy's Little Girl," a new episode of the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This is what you can expect from the episode:

The CSIs investigate the murder of a young man found dead in his girlfriend's garage after a night of taking drugs and partying. At first, Grissom and his team suspect that the man was murdered by his girlfriend after she discovered him cheating. However, the case takes a surprising twist when the identity of the other woman with whom the young man had been having an affair is revealed.

This episode was directed by Terrence O'Hara, this season also already responsible for "Secrets & Flies." The episode's story was co-written by Sarah Goldfinger ("Gum Drops") and Naren Shankar ("Bodies in Motion," while for the teleplay Goldfinger teamed up with Henry Alonso Myers ("Room Service").

Here's a list of "Daddy's Little Girl" guest stars:

  • David Berman as David Phillips
  • Louise Lombard as Sophia Curtis
  • Wallace Langham as Hodges
  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson
  • Gerald McCullouch as Bobby Dawson
  • Liz Vassey as Wendy Simms
  • Sheeri Rappaport as Mandy Webster
  • Aimee Graham as Kelly Gordon
  • Rebecca Staab as Chelsea
  • Taylor Cole as Bianca
  • Jason-Shane Scott as Ahren
  • David Goldman as Alex David
  • Timothy Lee DePriest as Justin Roth
  • Joe Manganiello as Tom Parker
  • Mitch Pileggi as Happy Harry Desmond
  • Nancy Youngblut as Nurse

David Berman, Louise Lombard, Wallace Langham, Archie Kao, Gerald McCullouch, Liz Vassey, Sheeri Rappaport and Aimee Graham will all be playing previously established characters. Only one other person from the list above has a previous CSI connection: Rebecca Staab, who appeared as Jessica Freemont in "Zoo York."

Besides these three regularly scheduled episodes, CBS will be airing two extra CSI repeats the coming week. First up on Tuesday at 9:00pm is the fifth-season episode "Spark of Life," in which Grissom discovers a connection between the fiery suicide of a woman in the Vegas wilderness and the slaughter of an entire family in a suburban home. The evidence exposes a couple's infidelity, as well as the unthinkable results of one woman's desperate attempt to get pregnant.

Finally, on Thursday at 8:00pm, an hour before "Daddy's Little Girl," the network will be repeating "Gum Drops," in which the CSI team suspects an entire family has been murdered, but cannot prove it until they find the victims' bodies. When the blood evidence suggests only three people were killed, Nick is the only one on the CSI team that believes the fourth family member, the young daughter, is still alive. Now, it's a race against time to find the perpetrators who may lead the CSIs to a possible survivor.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
