  • Actress Andrea De Oliveira, who played Patti Welborn on Miami's "Killer Date" and a waitress on CSI's "Revenge Is Best Served Cold," was recently interviewed by Just Adam. Net. In the interview, the actress discussed her experiences on Miami, her plans for the future, and what it was like to kiss Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko).

  • The website also has pictures of Rodriguez's appearance in the H.Q. Charity Bowl-A-Town, which took place in February of 2003.

  • The CSI: Official DVD Collection has previewed its 16th issue, which includes a special feature on money-hungry assassins, trace evidence filters, and the episodes "Slaves of Las Vegas" and "And Then There Were None." The magazine is available for purchase at the British website

  • GSR has been updated with a video segment of William Petersen (Gil Grissom) on Inside TV's 50th Sexiest Men on TV. The actor fell under the category of men who get better with age. Co-star Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) also made the list.

  • Rock Star: INXS, CBS's new reality series, premiered on Monday night, but the series only managed to draw 5.5 million viewers. The show centers around the Australian band INXS, which has launched a worldwide search for a new lead singer to replace the late Michael Hutchence . Rock Star served as a weak lead-in for Miami, which was watched by 7.9 million. Fox triumphed in the adults 18-49 (3.1/9) ratings demographic for the night.

  • Miami Style has been updated with screen caps of the season one episode "Just One Kiss."

  • Actor Hill Harper (Dr. Sheldon Hawkes) will participate in this year's American Black Film Festival, which will take place in Miami Beach. The actor will join director Antoine Fuqua in a discussion panel called Casting Beyond Black & White. The Festival is held every year to promote the work of independent African American filmmakers, developing future filmmakers, and promoting cultural diversity within the film industry.

  • CSI isn't just raising awareness about crime scene investigation, it's also boosting the general public's interest towards the world of coroners. "This whole thing is undergoing a revolution," said Don Moreau, chief of operations for the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office. "It used to be the coroner's job just to pick up the body and carry it off to where it needed to go. Now, we have to be an integral part of the investigation from the beginning, or there may never be a case."

  • All eyes tomorrow will be on the various entertainment channels, as the Emmy nominations will be announced early in the morning. Though Desperate Housewives and Lost are the hottest contenders, some experts agree: CSI will most likely land a nomination. The show has lost the statuette three years in a row, but the Quentin Tarantino directed "Grave Danger" might finally help the show win.

  • But columnist Toni Fitzgerald, of Media Life Magazine, disagrees. Fitzgerald maintained that the shows Lost, Law & Order: SVU, House, Veronica Mars, Deadwood, even an uneven 24 had better seasons than CSI.

  • And even though Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) has generated the most Emmy buzz in the acting categories, Tom O'Neil, author of the book The Emmys, has placed Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) in his list of possible nominees for the Best Actor in a Drama Series category. Sinise received an Emmy win in 1998 for his work in the telefilm George Wallace, and was nominated in 1995 for his work in Truman.

  • If you didn't get the chance to see Live8, a picture of Gary Dourdan at the event can be found at CBC.ca.

  • Gary Sherwood, of TV Zone, recently reviewed the Miami board game, and found it a good substitute for summer reruns. "CSI: Miami is a surprisingly enjoyable game. It's three-level system mirrors the movement of a typical episode and the CSI challenges and proving Means, Motive and Opportunity are actually - gulp! - educational."

  • Andy McKeague, of Monsters and Critics.com, had the chance to review the Region 2 CSI Season 4.2 DVD. Unfortunately, McKeague didn't give the show much praise. "This slickly produced Jerry Bruckheimer series is as dumb as they come and tries to smugly baffle you with science fact," he said.

  • And students around the country continue to look into crime scene investigation as their future careers. This time, students in Arizona will be able to enter a week long CSI summer camp.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
