The franchise is back with new episodes.

On Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Miami will air the first new episode after the winter break, and the team must help a man recover his memories in "Head Case":

The CSIs use radical technology to unlock the secrets of a man's mind when he shows up covered in blood with no memory of where he's been.

Sam Hill has directed 15 previous episodes of Miami, including "Cheating Death" from earlier this season. This is Tamara Jaron's third time writing for the show. Her most recent credit is for "And How Does That Make You Kill?"

The following guest stars will be appearing in "Head Case":

  • Boti Bliss as Valera
  • Christopher Redman as Michael Travers
  • Thomas Guiry as Doug Benson
  • Laird Macintosh as Mitch Crawford
  • Glenn Powell, Jr. as Logan Crawford
  • Brian White as Kurt Sabin
  • Michael Copon as Walter Leeson
  • Ernest Waddell as MDPD Officer
  • Sandra Vergara as Beauty

Boti Bliss and Christopher Redman are reprising established recurring roles in the lab. Laird Macintosh appeared in the CSI: New York episode "Grand Murder at Central Station" during the show's second season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: New York returns from the winter break on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT with "Help", and the case gets personal for one member of the team:

Young brides-to-be fight over a killer dress at the biggest wedding gown sale of the year and one of the shoppers winds up dead. The unusual clues of this case force Dr. Hawkes to confront a painful chapter from his past.

This is David Barrett's first time directing for New York. Sam Humphrey wrote six previous episodes of the show, the most recent being "Personal Foul" from last season.

The following actors and actresses will appear in guest-starring roles:

  • Emmanuelle Vaugier as Det. Jessica Angell
  • Meg Cionni as Marie Lowe
  • Ashley Cusato as Laurel Downs
  • Eyal Podell as Colin Clark
  • Bonnie McKee as Eleanor Ravelle
  • Nichole Galicia as Kara Garland
  • Alex Band as Trey Fager
  • Mackenzie Firgens as Nurse
  • Scott Sacks as Guitarist
  • June Little as Singler Sharon

Emmanuelle Vaugier is returning as Detective Jessica Angell. Eyal Podell appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Crow's Feet". None of the other actors have appeared in a CSI series before.

After an encore of "19 Down" at 8:00pm ET/PT, Gil Grissom (William Petersen) says goodbye in "One to Go" on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT:

The CSI team is shocked and saddened when, after working with Dr. Raymond Langston (Fishburne) on the "Dick & Jane" murders, Grissom announces that his time as a CSI has come to an end and offers Langston a permanent position on the CSI team.

This is Alec Smight's seventh turn in the director's chair for CSI. His most recent credit is for last season's "Two and a Half Deaths". Co-executive producers Naren Shankar and Carol Mendelsohn have written a combined total of 83 episodes between them. The latest of Shankar's 37 credits is for "19 Down", which he co-wrote with Mendelsohn (who has written 46 previous episodes).

Grissom's final episode will contain the following guest stars:

  • Marc Vann as Conrad Ecklie
  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson
  • Sheeri Rappaport as Mandy Webster
  • Jon Wellner as Henry Andrews
  • Bill Irwin as Nathan Haskell
  • Jimmi Simpson as Thomas
  • Katheryn Winnick as Maureen Martin
  • Joe Kelly as Officer Metcalf
  • Larry Sullivan as Officer Akers
  • Larry Mitchell as Officer Mitchell
  • Mark Rolston as Sheriff
  • Josh Jacobson as Joel Steiner
  • Mimi Michaels as Tiffany Cohen
  • Stephen Snedden as Steven Dougherty
  • Wynn Everett as Hallie Doniphon
  • Matt O'Leary as Dan Forester
  • Brad Carter as Gerald Tolliver

Marc Vann, Archie Kao, Sheeri Rappaport and Jon Wellner are reprising established roles. Joe Kelly, Larry Sullivan and Larry Mitchell are back as Officers Metcalf, Akers and Mitchell respectively. Bill Irwin is returning as the serial killer first seen in "19 Down", Nathan Haskell. Jimmi Simpson, Mimi Michaels, Matt O'Leary and Brad Carter also appeared in "19 Down". Josh Jacobson was in the CSI episode "Play With Fire" during the show's third season, and he also appeared in "Skeletons" during Miami's fourth season. Katheryn Winnick has guest-starred in both Miami ("Rap Sheet") and New York ("Corporate Warriors"). Mark Rolston has also appeared in both CSI spinoffs ("The Dove Commission" for New York and "Miami Confidential" for Miami).

"Head Case", "Help" and "One to Go" begin airing January 12 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
