A familiar face heads to sunny Florida.

Lucy Lawless, best known for her title role on Xena: Warrior Princess, will be guest-starring in tonight's episode of CSI: Miami, "Cheating Death". "There's a ring of housewives out in suburban Florida who feel that having sex for money is good work and fun, so we get involved with that when a murder happens," Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) explained to Entertainment Tonight, "and Lucy Lawless is at the center of it because she's fabulous."

Lawless plays a madame. "How did I get invited to play a hooker on TV? I got a call, and I wanted to try it," Lawless said. "I don't think I've ever played a madame before, so I wanted to give it a go." David Caruso (Horatio Caine) made things easier for the actress. "He was extremely helpful because he knows the show and he knows the tone and the approach," Lawless explained. "Every show is different, so it's good to have somebody like that on your side when you're coming into their show."

"They always make you look great," Lawless said of the hair and makeup crew for Miami. "This team is second to none, so therefore I knew I was in good hands coming here." Procter was surprised when she first saw Lawless in person. "She's unbelievably gorgeous," Procter said. "She walked into the makeup trailer and I was like, 'That sort of looks like Lucy Lawless, but that girl is 20', and then I looked over and it was her. It is unbelievable." Procter continued, "She's really beautiful, she's really sweet, and I just feel like we've been really lucky this year. We've had so many interesting people do the show."
