'CSI' Companion Due In Late August

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation fans who can't get enough of the show will soon have an all-access official guide to the hit crime show.

Amazon.com has the CSI: Companion listed for release on August 31st in the U.S. The guide is scheduled to be released a week later, on September 6th in the UK and Australia.

The detailed guide will presumably cover the first three seasons of the show, with a comprehensive guide to over fifty CSI episodes. The guide will be illustrated with artwork from the CSI production team specificially pertaining to each episode. The guide will also contain profiles of each of the characters as well as interviews with the cast and crew of the show. The guide also promises a wealth of behind-the-scenes information.

The guide was penned by Mike Flaherty and Corinne Marriman. Flaherty is a freelance journalist who has written for Entertainment Weekly; he was tapped by the CSI producers to write the official guide.

The CSI: Companion is available for preorder at Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Buy Australian.
