  • The Australian newspaper The Age has posted another article based on the recent press tour of the CSI: New York set. "The city is definitely one of the characters," series creator Anthony E. Zuiker is quoted in the article. "You go to Las Vegas to escape, to Miami to be seen and to New York to change. All of the cities are characters in their shows."

  • MSNBC's Paige Newman has posted a lengthy article listing the reasons why CSI is one of her favorite shows on TV. Some of these include the fact that CSI always makes the character’s personal lives secondary to the plot, that the show beats reality fare like American Idol in the ratings, and that thanks to Warrick Brown, Nick Stokes and Gil Grissom, there's plenty of eye candy on the show.

  • People can now enter their name and email address at GaryDourdan.net in order to be notified when the official web site of the Warrick Brown actor launches. Thanks go out to the Gary Dourdan Experience for this!

  • Issue 9 of the British Official CSI DVD Collection magazine once again features Gil Grissom on the cover. This issue contains articles on forensic entomology, multiple personality disorder, facial reconstruction and human combustion, as well as a DVD with the episodes "Face Lift" and "$35K O.B.O."

  • And the GDE also notes that a trailer of Mother Tongue, a new film project created and directed by Dourdan, is now available online.

  • JustAdam.net has posted a screencap gallery of the 1999 episode of Law & Order that featured Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko).

  • And over at David Caruso Online, there are new screencaps of the CSI: Miami episodes "Dead Zone" and "Deadline." The site also has new shots of the movies "Black Point" and Session 9, both starring David Caruso (Horatio Caine).

  • The JFO has several new photos of Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), including screencaps of the CSI episode "Spark of Life," and promo images of both ER and CSI's "4x4."

  • PhilStar, a web site for the global Filipino community, has posted an interview with actor Ramon de Ocampo, who among other roles appeared in the original CSI's "Harvest" as Daniel Lopez, a leukemia patient. "I thought it was fantastic," Ocampo told the web site. "I had memorable moments working on that show. I did several scenes but my big scene was with William Petersen [Gil Grissom] who is a fantastic and incredibly supportive actor. He’s also a stage actor; he’s from Chicago and he works for the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. It was a five-minute monologue scene and it was fantastic." Thanks go out to the WPAP for this!

  • New "Hush" screencaps are available at CSI:NY fan site Past My Shoulder.

  • And Erica's CSI Caps page has new images from the season 4 premiere of the original CSI, "Assume Nothing."

  • RedNova has discovered that CSI is good for forensic science, while the Belleville News Democrat is going one step further, and has written about the differences between CSI and real forensic scientists.

  • The-Signal.com notes that 30% of the people working on the CSI shows live in Santa Clarita, also a popular place for the shows to shoot location scenes.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
