Jorja Fox's final episode as Sara Sidle airs next week.

The November 15 episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, "Goodbye and Good Luck", will be Fox's last appearance as Sara Sidle. So far this season, Sara has been questioning whether or not she wants to continue being a CSI. In "Goodbye and Good Luck", a case from her past comes back to haunt her, and she makes the decision to leave.

Fox spoke to the Official CSI Magazine about leaving the show. She explained the choice to have Sara leave in this manner, rather than have her die at the hands of the miniature serial killer in "Dead Doll". "I did not want Sara to die," she said. "I did not want that to be the way she went out. I have played characters that have died before so I am not afraid of that. It can actually make really good drama and it certainly happens in real life where people we know and love die. But I just didn't want that to be the end for Sara."

Columnist Mike Ausiello revealed a few tidbits about "Goodbye and Good Luck" without giving away too many details. According to him, Sara leaves at night in a vehicle of some sort, and the episode ends with a close-up of a different character. TV Guide will have a list of Sara's five best moments in next week's edition: her emotional attachment to the victim in season one's "Too Tough to Die", her fearless behavior in "Play with Fire" during season three, the confession of her past in the season five episode "Nesting Dolls", the revelation of her relationship with Grissom in the season six finale, "Way to Go", and the inner strength (and lonliness) she showed in "Dead Doll". Executive producer Carol Mendelsohn recalls her own emotional response to the end of "Dead Doll": "I cry every time I see [that scene] when Grissom finally finds her."

"Goodbye and Good Luck" will air on November 15. The information from the Official CSI Magazine can be found here (please be aware that the article contains MAJOR spoilers about the upcoming episode). The Ask Ausiello column can be found at TV Guide.com. Check out next week's edition of TV Guide for the list of Sara's best moments on CSI.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
