The franchise airs three new episodes.

President Barack Obama will deliver a primetime address on Monday at 8:00pm ET, but CSI: Miami will air at 10:00pm ET/PT as scheduled. "Presumed Guilty" introduces a mysterious attorney:

Horatio and the team go head-to-head with a defense attorney (guest star Sean Combs) who may be involved in a murder cover-up.

Larry Detwiler has acted as Visual Effects Supervisor on both Miami and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, but this is his first time directing for the franchise. Corey Miller has written 20 previous episodes of the show, including "Wrecking Crew" from earlier this season.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Sean Combs as Derek Powell
  • Chris Wiehl as Kevin Sheridan
  • Nicholas Gonzalez as Alfonso Reyes
  • Christian Pitre as Lindsay Garland
  • Scott Klace as Paul Garland
  • Jim Pirri as Judge Gregory Thorpe
  • Rachel Miner as Tammy Witten
  • Michael Duvert as Andy Durbin
  • Lisa Vidal as Patricia Busick
  • Ron Eckert as Jury Foreman
  • Brian Lloyd as Officer
  • Paul Haber as Doctor

Rapper-turned-actor Sean Combs is making his first appearance in the franchise. Paul Haber has never appeared in the franchise, but he provided the voice for Doctor Watts in a Miami video game in 2004. Chris Wiehl had a recurring role on CSI. His last episode as Hank Peddigrew was "Crash and Burn" in season three. Scott Klace was in the CSI episode "Viva Las Vegas", and Rachel Miner guest-starred in "Rashomama". Jim Pirri appeared in "Blood, Sweat and Tears" during CSI: New York's first season. Brian Lloyd was in "Manhattan Manhunt", the New York half of the 2005 crossover with Miami.

On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: New York will uncover abuse during their investigation in "She's Not There":

A Russian tourist is found stabbed to death and the CSIs come face to face with the frightening realities of human trafficking. Solving this case becomes personal when it directly affects a prominent member of the NYPD.

Nelson McCormick directed "Til Death Do We Part" during the first season of CSI: NY. Executive producer Pam Veasey has 24 New York scripts under her belt, including "My Name is Mac Taylor" from earlier this season. Veasey co-wrote this episode with John Dove, who has written six previous episodes, including "The Cost of Living".

"She's Not There" will feature the following actors and actresses in guest-starring roles:

  • Julia Ormond as Deputy Inspector Gillian Whitford
  • Shantel VanSanten as Tara Habis
  • Tamara Feldman as Carolyn Williams
  • Michelle Lee as Jody Sun
  • Michael Hake as Sammy Chen
  • Mykel Shannon Jenkins as Williw Bostic
  • Tina Ivlev as Rani Fedoruk
  • Brian Cousins as Patrick Habis
  • Monte Franks as Nemo
  • Alyssa Diaz as Tracy James
  • Bryan Friday as Handsome Young Man
  • Michael Papajohn as Adrik Fedoruk

Julia Ormond is back as Deputy Inspector Gillian Whitford, who was first seen in "My Name is Mac Taylor". Mykel Shannon Jenkins has appeared on both Miami ("No Man's Land") and CSI ("Empty Eyes"), and so has Bryan Friday (in the CSI episode "Blood Lust" and the Miami episode "Going Under"). Alyssa Diaz was in the Miami episode "Hell Night" during the show's third season. Michael Papajohn was also on Miami, in the season four episode "Deviant".

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will find the team dealing with a messy crime scene on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT in "Deep Fried and Minty Fresh":

Langston and Nick are called to investigate a murder at a fast food restaurant and have quite a task ahead of them when they discover that much of the evidence is coated in cooking oil.

This is the seventh time Alec Smight has directed the show. His last turn in the director's chair was for "One to Go". Corinne Marrinan has one previous writing credit for the show: "Let it Bleed". She co-wrote this episode with Sarah Goldfinger, who has penned 23 other CSI episodes. Her latest credit is for this season's "The Happy Place".

"Deep Fried and Minty Fresh" will have the following guest-stars:

  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson
  • Alex Carter as Det. Vartann
  • Sheeri Rappaport as Mandy Webster
  • Jon Wellner as Henry Andrews
  • Danielle Alonso as Liz Martin/Rosa Gonzles
  • Drew Tyler Bell as Max Stanton
  • Pat Asanti as Robert
  • Megan Hilty as Kiwi Long
  • Dameon Clarke as Scott Tucker
  • Jeffrey D. Stevens as Paramedic
  • Hollie Stenson as Melinda Tucker
  • Patricia Forte as Marge
  • Nik Tyler as Jackson
  • Allison Scagliotti as Jemma
  • Marc Joseph as Gary Comstock
  • Alexandra Krosney as Silver
  • John Ales as Timothy Rand

Archie Kao, Alex Carter, Sheeri Rappaport and Jon Wellner are reprising established recurring roles. Pat Asanti was in the episode "Recipe for Murder" during CSI's third season. Jeffrey D. Stevens played a paramedic in two previous episodes: "Dead Doll" and "Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda". Danielle Alonso has appeared in both New York ("Cool Hunter") and Miami ("Born to Kill"). Patricia Forte was in the Miami episode "Entrance Wound", John Ales was in "Speed Kills" and Dameon Clarke was in "The Score". Hollie Stenson was in "Can You Hear Me Now" during season four of CSI: NY.

"Presumed Guilty", "She's Not There" and "Deep Fried and Minty Fresh" begin airing February 9 on CBS. The information about the president's address is from The Futon Critic.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
