For the third straight week, all three shows in the CSI franchise are airing new episodes.

First, on Monday at 10:00pm EST, CSI: Miami starts out the week with "Inside Out". Horatio is once again dealing with the son he never knew he had:

Horatio searches for his son after he goes missing during a deadly prison break.

"Inside Out" was directed by Gina Lamar, who has previously directed only one episode of the show: "Backstabbers". Sunil Nayar has written seventeen episodes of Miami, including "Born to Kill", the season five finale. The other writer of "Inside Out", John Haynes, has written fifteen episodes. His last project was "Bloodline".

"Inside Out" features the following guest actors:

  • Boti Bliss as Valera
  • Evan Ellingson as Kyle Harmon
  • Jessica Szohr as Samantha Barrish
  • Luis Moncada as Julio Rentoria
  • Joey Gaytan as Trevor Battle
  • Aries Spears as Oscar Monahan
  • Keith Hamilton Cobb as Oscar's Lawyer
  • Lauren Mary Kim as Veronica Eckland
  • John Sharian as Joe LeBrock
  • David Newsom as Will Bedford
  • Callard Harris as Barry Slater
  • Chris William Martin as Rich Caprioto
  • Steve Toussaint as Judge Hugo
  • Loren Olson as MDPD Uniform
  • Jeff De Serrano as Corrections Officer

Boti Bliss and Jessica Szohr are reprising established roles in the lab. Evan Ellingson returns as Horatio's son Kyle. Luis Moncada has never appeared on Miami, but his character, Julio Rentoria, is also listed in the cast list for "Bang Bang, Your Debt". The episode was originally scheduled to be episode two this season but has been postponed. David Newsom has appeared on an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: season five's "Compulsion".

CSI: New York will air "You Only Die Once" on Wednesday at 10:00pm EST. The team must find some famous burglars when murder is added to the equation:

Manhattan's wealthy are being robbed and all clues point to a fancy vehicle that has Mac and Stella puzzled.

"You Only Die Once" was directed by Jonathan Glassner. Glassner directed two other episodes of CSI: NY: "Jamalot" and "Stuck on You". The episode was written by Sam Humphrey, who has previously written two episodes of New York, the latest being "Cold Reveal".

The following actors and actresses are guest-starring in the episode:

  • Robert Joy as Dr. Sid Hammerback
  • AJ Buckley as Adam Ross
  • Rachelle Lefevre as Devon Maxford
  • Mykelti Williamson as Chief of Det Brigham Sinclair
  • Kevin Reid as James Stanton

  • KD Aubert as Maude Messervy
  • Sydney Lauren as Kelly Brooks
  • Christopher Stewart as Booth Rody
  • Adam Kaufman as Elliot Gano

Mykelti Williamson is returning for his third episode as Brigham Sinclair after appearing in "Cold Reveal" and "...Comes Around" last season. Adam Kaufman appeared in the CSI: Miami episode "Spring Break" during the show's first season.

On Thursday, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air "Go to Hell", where things are more sinister than they seem:

The CSI team investigates the murder of an entire family, except for one daughter who supposedly is possessed by the devil.

"Go to Hell" was directed by Jeffrey Hunt. Prior to "Go to Hell", Hunt directed four episodes of CSI including last season's "Monster in the Box". Douglas Petrie, the writer of this episode, also worked on "Monster in the Box" as well as two other episodes of the show.

Jessica Lucas will be starring in her first episode as Ronnie Lake, a new recurring character. Rhys Coiro has not appeared on CSI before, but he has been on both Miami ("From the Grave") and New York ("Dancing with the Fishes"). Michael Raynor was in the season four premiere of New York, "Can You Hear Me Now?".

"Inside Out", "You Only Die Once" and "Go to Hell" begin airing October 8 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
