CSI: Miami will reportedly delve into the underbelly of the tennis world in the third episode of its sophomore season, entitled "Death Grip".

Sources told CSI Files the episode deals with the kidnapping of Lisa Walker, a 14-year-old up-and-coming tennis star. Her parents, John and Krista, upper-middle class socialites with big wallets and ambitions to match, arranged for Lisa to have private tuition to jump-start her career.

Lisa's kidnapping whips the media into a frenzy, and the hysteria only increases when it's revealed blood was found on her bed sheets. Missing persons flyers are circulated in the hope of finding the tennis princess.

Horatio Caine and his team uncover the remains of a young teenager in a canal, apparently mauled by an alligator. A thread found in Lisa's bedroom on the night of the kidnapping matches the clothes on the body parts found in the canal, and it looks like the CSIs have discovered the girl's grisly fate.

Their prime suspect is David Kendall, a fit, good-looking 23-year-old — and Lisa's tennis coach. The CSIs track Kendall down to a seedy motel, where they grab him when he emerges from his room. But just as the police are ready to haul the tennis coach away for questioning, Lisa Walker emerges from the room, pleading with them not to harm him.

Horatio is left with two questions — why did Lisa Walker run away and whose body parts were found in the canal?

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from an early draft of the script and details may change before the episode goes to air.

"Death Grip" will likely air in October, 2003.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
