Anthony Zuiker Provides Writing For New 'CSI' Board Game

February 8, 2006 - 8:18 AM

CSI series creator Anthony Zuiker has taken an important role in the development of the latest CSI board game.

CSI: Senses is not the first CSI board game but it might be the most unique. In it, players will have to rely on their senses – specifically vision, hearing, memory, communication skills and IQ – to solve six new cases featuring the characters of the original CSI.

The idea came from Zuiker, who also wrote the six cases profiled in the board game. "I've loved games my entire life so you can just imagine how thrilled I was to be approached with an opportunity to combine a childhood passion with my biggest professional accomplishment," he said.

CSI: Senses also comes with props to help the players unveil their cases, among them a mini-UV light. The game is truly for anyone who ever wanted to become a real-life CSI. "From the story lines to the immersive game play, I can easily say that CSI: Senses is poised to be one of the most unique game experiences ever created," Zuiker added.

Zuiker partnered up with SBG/b EQUAL to develop this game. The company also produced the CSI and CSI: Miami board games, both of which have become instant big sellers. Mark Sutcliffe, CEO of the company, is thrilled to bring antoher CSI board game to life.

"It has been a phenomenal experience to work with Anthony. His level of dedication to the project has just blown us away and we can say without a doubt that CSI: Senses brings the excitement and suspense of the popular series to life like no other game before."

CSI: Senses will be revealed at the 2006 Toy Fair, but a public release date has not been announced. Visit PR Newswire to read the rest of the article.
