CBS today released the promo video of the new episode of CSI, which airs next week.

In "Shooting Stars," a middle of the night break-in at a suburban home on the edge of the Vegas desert leads the CSIs to discover an abandoned military compound being used to house a small cult. Once inside, they discover a mass suicide has taken place. However, with 11 bodies and 12 beds, Grissom surmises that the killer may be the one body missing. Executive producer Danny Cannon wrote and directed the episode.

The trailer is currently available for download at CBS.com. For those of you with slower connections, here's a full transcript with screen caps of the trailer.

THURSDAY

CSI – Shooting Stars [Grissom stands next to a patrol car, in the desert, with his straw hat on. He's looking into the horizon.]
[Text-over: 'Thursday.']
[He and Catherine find an underground bunk. They descend into it carefully.]
Grissom: "This looks like some sort of observation post."
[Once inside, Grissom opens a door and walks in slowly.]
[Catherine follows him. They both look around with their flashlights in hand.]
[The camera pulls back to reveal they're in a room. There are beds lined up and bodies in all of them ala Heaven's Gate.]
[We see them from a different angle and it's obvious now they're all dead.]
[Grissom and Catherine look at them, mortified.]
Grissom: "I count 11."
Catherine: "Me too."

TV'S MOST WATCHED DRAMA

CSI – Shooting Stars [A body is wheeled out through a dark tunnel as Nick arrives at the scene.]
[Text-over: 'The most watched TV drama.']
[Nick looks around with his flashlight. He can't believe what he's seeing.]
Nick: "What is this place, another Jonestown?"
[He joins Catherine and they continue to look around.
[Grissom has found another room, this one with a huge projector. The images appear on the ceiling. Grissom looks up.]
[Grissom comes up with a theory.]
Grissom: "They were timing their ascension to the meteor shower."
[Shot of the night sky as hundreds of shooting stars fly across the sky.]
[Close-up of Grissom.]
Grissom: "I'm sure if there's something out there they're wise enough to stay away from us."
CSI – Shooting Stars [Shot of a person as they looks up at the sky. The wind is blowing and they're enveloped by a white light.]
[From inside the bunker, we see a white light envelop the sky.]
[Suddenly, something moves behind Grissom and Catherine. They turn, Catherine draws her gun.]
Catherine: "Who's there?"

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
