'No Humans Involved' - copyright CBSCBS recently released both official production information and a new 20-second trailer for this week's only new CSI episode, the original CSI's "No Humans Involved."

Prior to the airing of "No Humans Involved," CBS will first be showing repeats of CSI: Miami's "Pro Per" on Monday, and CSI: New York's "Blink" on Wednesday. More information about both these episodes can be found in our Episode Guide. But then on Thursday, viewers will be able to enjoy "No Humans Involved," which CBS described as follows:

Tension rises as the CSI teams adjust to their new assignments while investigating two vastly different murders. Grissom and his team hunt for a killer after discovering the remains of a young boy starved to death and left in a plastic container. Meanwhile, Catherine assumes her new role as supervisor and quickly finds herself at odds with Warrick when he takes an overly aggressive approach in an investigation involving possible police brutality.

The episode was written by Judith McCreary, who this year already brought us "Harvest," and last season co-wrote "No More Bets." Directing duties were handled by Rob Bailey, who this year already took on the CSI: New York episodes "American Dreamers" and "Outside Man."

The following guest actors will appear in "No Humans Involved:"

  • David Berman as David Phillips
  • Louise Lombard as Sophia Curtis
  • Aisha Tyler as Mia Dickerson
  • Wallace Langham as Hodges
  • Alex Carter as Detective Vartan
  • Carla Renata as Devine

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
