May sweeps kick off for CSI this season with the case of a man whose good luck at the Blackjack table

According to CSI Files sources, "Time Of Your Life" takes us to the heart and soul of Las Vegas, the game of risk, where Jeff Quinn is counting his winnings at the Blackjack table. Jeff is just as surprised about his luck as the room's spectators, and as he celebrates his victory he quickly catches the eye of a beautiful blonde named Heidi Wolff. Seizing the opportunity, Heidi approaches Jeff and the two quickly hit it off together and leave for a fun night around town, spending Jeff's money. But Jeff's luck evidently runs out when he's found dead in a room at the Palermo.

Jeff's reservation was made with a credit card belonging to a movie production company called van Dorff Enterprises, and an expensive jacket found at the scene tells the investigators Jeff became quite the spender after his successful night at the table. His autopsy also reveals drugs in his system, meaning Jeff was drugged right before being killed, possibly to facilitate his murder.

Mick Logan flies in from Los Angeles. A successful movie producer and Jeff's boss, Mick claims he's deeply saddened about his friend's death. Mick's obviously displaying his acting abilities, but Grissom and Brass decide to let that slide. Mick claims he loved Jeff like a son, and hired him right out of law school as an assistant. Jeff wanted to learn more about the movie business. Brass brings up a nasty detail about Mick's past: apparently Mick was once addicted to drugs and was busted at an airport for possession. He is also the reason why Jeff came to Las Vegas – the trip was Mick's present to Jeff for helping him in his divorce settlement. Brass notices if it weren't for this gift, Jeff would be alive. Could Mick have drugged Jeff and killed him? Mick claims he'll regret sending Jeff to Las Vegas for the rest of his life – Brass and Grissom are skeptical.

The CSIs recreate Jeff's steps from the hotel room door to every one of his adventures with Heidi. If the two were good at something it was certainly giving a good impression, as every store they went into to spend Jeff's money left the salespeople with the impression that they were "totally hot for each other." The valet of the Palermo, especially, was impressed with Jeff's girl and his wheels: it turns out Jeff used most of his winnings to rent a red Lamborghini Diablo, which, by the end of Jeff's night, had managed to been in an accident. But if Jeff caused an accident it was certainly a hit and run. The CSIs are left with the task of finding the person who Jeff smashed his car into.

Meanwhile, an inspection of Jeff's reveal blue talk in the pocket. The trace leads them to the Cue-Topia Billards Hall. Brass and Catherine talk to Jake the bartender, who claims he doesn't recognize Jeff and Heidi from seeing a picture of them. But after threatening to shut down the hall for not having a gaming license, Jake becomes cooperative. He doesn't recognize Jeff, but Heidi is a regular at the hall. Jeff is reluctant about giving her information away, but Brass won't take no for an answer.

The detective finally comes face to face with Heidi, the object of Jeff's affection and the last person to see him alive. Heidi plays coy, claiming Jeff was cute and they were just having fun. Brass knows there's more to her than that, but Heidi corrects him: she's not a prostitute, just a professional gambler and can spot a gullible out-of-towner a mile away. But Brass is just as smart as Heidi, and wonders if she had something to dow ith Jeff's murder. Heidi is shocked and suddenly shaken, but promises Jeff was alive when she left him. Brass, however, knows better than to trust a woman who got involved with a man merely for his money.

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from early script drafts and the details and the airing order of the episodes are liable to change before the episodes are shown.

"Time Of Your Death" is expected to air during May sweeps on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
