A new episode of the original CSI may have taken second to Grey’s Anatomy last week, but the spin-offs supported the strength of the franchise by winning their timeslots despite airing reruns.

NBC won Monday night with an average of 7.8 rating/12 share, beating FOX’s 7.3/11 by a small margin and CBS’ 7.1/11. A rerun of CSI:Miami won it’s timeslot with a 9.1/15, over NBC’s Studio 60, 4.8/7, and ABC’s What About Brian, 4.0/6.

FOX again proved its dominance on Wednesday night thanks to American Idol. FOX scored a 12.8 rating/19 share, over CBS’ 6.4/10 and NBC’s 6.1/9. In the 10pm timeslot, a rerun of CSI:NY drew a 7.1/12 to beat out NBC’s Medium with a 6.6/11 and ABC’s Primetime:Medical Mysteries with 4.2/7.

ABC won Thursday night with a 10.5 rating/16 share, over CBS’ 10.2/16 and NBC’s 5.9/9. A new episode of CSI lost to ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, 13.4/19 to 14.9/22. In third place was NBC’s Scrubs, 4.1/6, and 30 Rock, 4.6/5.
