Chad Lindberg (Chad Willingham) is used to portraying quirky nerds, psychotic murderers, and even terrorists. But the actor recently revealed he's ready to move on to the next level.

Lindberg has appeared on various independent films, but is most recognized for his role as Jessie in the action movie The Fast and the Furious. Nowadays fans know him as Chad Willingham, CSI: New York's very own zany lab tech.

"I'm the quirky lab tech who sort of handles the odds and ends, a little comic relief," Lindberg told the Skagit Valley Herald. "I'm the go-to guy for those types of roles."

Though Lindberg is no stranger to television, having landed roles on shows such as Law and Order, The X-Files, and even the original CSI, the actor still finds that working on television is a bit more challenging than making movies. "You can't call in sick," he revealed. "You got to do your job, even if you're throwing up between takes."

Though more challenging, Lindberg hopes his latest role will broaden his horizon as an actor. "I feel like I'm at the very end of what level I'm at, and about to burst into the next," the actor said. "It's still a struggle to break into that next level."
