Like the DVD release of the first season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the second season DVD set will include six discs of the top-rated series, presented in Dolby Stereo.

Unlike the first season set, however, the second season will be presented on DVD in anamorphic widescreen, according to a report at TVShowsOnDVD.com.

CSI: The Complete Second Season, a 23-episode collection, will have a 17-hour running time. Extras such as a "making of" featurette will be included.

The episode "Burked" will be accompanied by audio commentary from Carol Mendelsohn, Anthony Zuiker and Danny Cannon. "Alter Boys" will feature audio commentary by Ann Donahue, while "Ellie" will have commentary by Zuiker and Gary Dourdain.

Paramount has not confirmed a release date for the set, but TVShowsOnDVD.com said to expect it by the fall. More information can be found at the site.

The first season of CSI is already available on DVD. In the US and Canada, the entire first season is available as a single set from Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. In Europe, the first and second of two sets are available from Amazon.co.uk.
