The first week of December finds two repeats and a brand new episode on the table for the franchise.

On Monday at 10:00pm EST, CSI: Miami will start the week out with a repeat from last season, "If Looks Could Kill". In this episode, the CSI team investigates the murder of a male model, and it appears that his good looks were the reason for his death. However, they have to look for a connection when a second male model turns up dead. In the meantime, Natalia has to deal with some personal problems when her ex-husband is released from jail and begins to stalk her.

CSI: New York also airs a repeat on Wednesday at 10:00pm EST. The episode is "Sleight Out of Hand" from season three. Guest-starring Criss Angel as Luke Blade, a world-renowned illusionist, the episode forces Mac and his team to separate fact from fiction and solve several homicides. Meanwhile, Lindsay is in Montana, testifying in the trial of the man who killed several of her friends when she was younger.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation airs the only new episode of the week on Thursday at 9:00pm EST. Warrick must face some personal challenges in "Cockroaches":

Warrick's addiction to pills begins to impact his job when his investigation into the underground mob in Vegas results in him being targeted as the prime suspect in a mob-related murder case.

William Friedkin directed "Cockroaches". He reunited with William Petersen (Gil Grissom) for the episode, and this is the first time the pair worked together since filming "To Live and Die in L.A." in 1985. "Cockroaches" was written by Dustin Lee Abraham. He has written 14 previous episodes of CSI, the latest being this season's premiere, "Dead Doll", which he co-wrote.

"Cockroaches" features the following actors and actresses in guest-starring roles:

  • David Berman as David Phillips
  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson
  • Rebecca Budig as Joanna
  • Conor O'Farrell as Undersheriff McKeen
  • Liz Vassey as Wendy Simms
  • Beth Broderick as Belinda/Linda
  • Reginald Noble as Jamal Watkins
  • Harold as Fez Miller
  • John Capodice as Lou Gedda
  • Rick Hoffman as Michael Raykirk
  • Christina Cindrich as Cocktail Waitress
  • Dennis Christopher as Homeless Guy
  • Jeremy Radin as Drunk Driver
  • Shannon McKain as Backseat Passenger
  • Jason Lopez as Jason Crewes
  • Nathan Frizzell as Front Seat Passenger

David Berman, Archie Kao, Conor O'Farrell and Liz Vassey are reprising established recurring roles. Beth Broderick has previously appeared on CSI: Miami in the episode "Crime Wave" during season 3. Rick Hoffman has appeared on both Miami ("Bait") and CSI: New York ("Manhattan Manhunt"). For the rest of the guest stars, this is their first appearance in the CSI franchise.

The repeats of "If Looks Could Kill" and "Sleight Out of Hand" and the new episode "Cockroaches" begin airing December 3, 2007 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
