  • Inside TV this week released its list of the 50 Sexiest Men on TV, and both Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) and Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) made the list. The men both fell under the category of guys, "we wouldn't mind getting arrested by." William Petersen (Gil Grissom) was praised in the category of "they just get better with age."

  • William Mapother has guest starred in both CSI and CSI: Miami, but fans might not be able to recognize him in his next role. The actor will be portraying a 800 pound serial killer on The Inside. "He is a cannibal and his preferred food is anorexic women," Mapother told the Insider.

  • Gwendolyn Parker, who worked as a writer during the first season of Miami, has joined the team of Without a Trace. The writer will be busy this upcoming season, as her pilot for the show Windfall was picked by NBC. Laurie McCarthy, who served as co-executive producer for Miami, collaborated on the script for the pilot.

  • If you're wondering what the new CSI promos will look like, a fan has been able to put the videos online. Head over to this website to see it.

  • 452 images of the season 4 episode of CSI called "Dead Ringer" have been added to Erica's CSI Screencaps.

  • David Caruso Fans has been updated with screen caps of the David Caruso (Horatio Caine) movie Jade and the CSI: Miami episode Cross-Jurisdiction." The website also includes a few articles that appeared on Celebrity View and the New York Daily News.

  • If you're a fan of CSI, the Philadelphia News promises you'll enjoy a great amount of new shows that will premiere this summer or in the fall. Lucky for fans, none of them will air against any of the CSIs.

  • According to new research from Turner Broadcasting Americans are watching more television, despite the birth of the internet, thanks to shows like CSI. “It’s because there are more choices, more options, more [television sets] and people are simply turning on the television more than ever before,” said Jack Wakshlag, chief research officer at Turner.

  • If you live in or near East Midlands, England, and are interested in forensic science and computers, De Montfort University will begin offering a three-year course in Forensic Computing. "The opportunities for criminals to abuse digital electronics are countless; from mobile phones to the internet, for crimes ranging from identity thief to child pornography. Forensic computing scientists help prevent such crime and track down those who try to get away with it," said Peter Norris, the course's leader.

  • CSI ratings continue to flourish even in Canada, where CSI and CSI: Miami made it to the top 10 most watched shows.

  • According to the Hollywood Reporter, people aren't the only ones taking time off during the summer. The media agency MPG found that TiVos are rarely used during the summer. "Television usage usually declines in the summer and, for the most part, it's not appointment viewing like we see in the fall and during the regular television season," said Nina Kanter, director of communication analysis at MPG. "That might be a plus for summer programs, because most of that viewing is live."

  • The CSI effect now has jurors disregarding witness accounts and asking for scientific evidence. "It’s good to increase public awareness of what goes on in the criminal justice system," said Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas, "but when people expect this evidence to be used in every single trial to convict someone, it becomes a problem."

  • Students aren't the only ones participating on CSI courses. At Michigan State University, students and police officers investigated a fake homicide at an apartment complex. The article also includes a list myths and realities created by the shows, including: not all CSIs and lab techs are good looking in real life.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
