"No harm, no foul" does not always apply.

According to CSI Files sources, "Personal Foul" opens on the Hudson Arena. Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery are in the CBS Sports booth, covering this playoff game. The buzzer--and the roar of the crowd--announces halftime. Now someone from the crowd gets a chance to hit the court and win some money.

A cheerleader picks a random seat number and calls the person sitting there to come down to the floor. Dugan Scott jumps out of his seat and runs down the stairs, high-fiving other fans as the crowd cheers. The announcers explain that Dugan will have one chance to make a shot from half-court. If he gets the ball through the hoop, he wins a million dollars.

Danny and Lindsay are in the crowd, debating whether or not Dugan can make it. Lindsay says he can, but Danny doesn't think so. However, Danny does seem confident that he could easily make the shot himself. Lindsay just laughs--he's so full of himself. Meanwhile, Dugan makes it to the court, and the cheerleaders give him good luck kisses--he's really enjoying this. A referee hands Dugan an official game basketball and leads him to the half-court line.

Dugan eyes the net--it seems so far away from down here--as the crowd goes wild. Danny and Lindsay are still disagreeing about whether he'll make it. Lindsay suggests that they make a bet. Danny says he spent enough money on playoff tickets, but Lindsay suggests that he's afraid to make the bet--and he gives in. The loser buys the next round of beers.

They watch with the rest of the crowd as Dugan sets up the shot and lets the ball go. The crowd watches as if in slow motion, the ball heading toward the net. Everyone is holding their breath, waiting to see if Dugan is going to win the million dollars. Danny and Lindsay rise from their seats--and the ball makes it! Dugan won!

It's not quite a happy ending for Dugan, though--the man wins a million dollars and winds up dead. Danny and Lindsay work the case, trying to figure out how the basketball fan was poisoned. Meanwhile, Mac, Stella and Hawkes work a new crime scene with a familiar theme--the cabbie killer has struck again. A body is found wrapped in a tarp in a fountain at Bryant Park. The letters carved on the back of the victim's neck confirm that they're dealing with their serial killer.

Mac notices that there are coins in the bottom of the fountain--but only where the victim's body was positioned. They go to visit Abe Katz, the man responsible for vacuuming the change and other detritus from the bottom of the fountain. He admits that he saw the body, but he's seen his fair share in the past 18 years--it didn't even faze him. He vacuumed around the body and called 911. The team takes the bags of money Abe collected--which luckily had not yet been cleaned--back to the lab. While Hawkes analyzes some strange milky-white smears from the tarp wrapped around the body, Stella fishes through the coins and finds something interesting: a dispatch button used to keep track of where cabs are in the city. In another stroke of luck for the team, only one company still uses the magnet system. Are they one step closer to catching their killer?

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
