The websites Fandom Talk, Blogcritics.org, TV Squad, and MSN have been keeping up with their reviews of the latest episodes of the CSI trio. Below, they talk about the highs, the lows, the blind Emmy voters, and the cannoli.

  • "Shooting Stars" was a huge hit over at Fandom Talk, the recapper was glad to see the return of the funny and quirky relationship Grissom and Catherine used to have.

  • CBS has also provided a detailed recap of "Shooting Stars" complete with pictures, for those of you who missed the episode.

  • The emotional episode "Gum Drops" was enthralling enough to appease Ryan j Budke over at TV Squad. Budke praised CSI's ability to successfully bring the audience glimpses of the character's psyches without taking away too much of the science. He had this to say about the character driven episode:

"I know people that have gotten into the show in it's second, third, even fifth seasons and love it as much as those that have been around from the beginning. It's not like ER, where the job is the background, and the characters and their dramas are what the shows about. Yet in the same breath, it's not like Law & Order, where it's all about the job. CSI gives you just enough of both so if you see one episode, you want to see the rest. With all that said though, I really like the fact they are keeping the things that happened with Nick in last season's finale relevant. He's a very changed man and it'll be interesting to see exactly how deep his scars are now."

  • "Gum Drops" was also a great source of angst over at Fandom Talk, where the recapper had trouble typing through tears and emotional pleads to the Emmy voters to give George Eads (Nick Stokes) an Emmy already.

  • Paige Newman, from MSN, also provided a character-by-character review of "Gum Drops." In it, she expresses a great deal of relief in seeing the "old" Sara back, and wonders if Nick will make it through the end of the season without having an emotional break down.

  • CBS also provided a complete recap of "Gum Drops."

  • In the Miami front, those of you who missed "Under Suspicion" or live in different countries can read a detailed description of the episode over at CBS.

  • Blog Critics has provided a brief synopsis of the CSI: New York episode "Zoo York," which saw the introduction of the new character Lindsay "Montana" Monroe.

  • New New York fan Janet St. Clair provided a recap of the episode "Corporate Warriors" and found two problems with the episode: one the overly metaphorical ending and two – Mac left the San Gennaro festival without eating the cannoli?

  • Over at Blog Critics reviewer NancyGail published a brief description of the episode.

  • CBS also provided a much detailed recap of "Corporate Warriors," and recently added a complete synopsis of "Dancing With The Fishes."

And of course, don't forget to check out our own Kristine Huntley's reviews of the episodes "Shooting Stars," "Under Suspicion," "Zoo York," and "Corporate Warriors."
