Hello World!

As you may have noticed, we launched a new feature on CSI Files this weekend: Chris Fullman's weekly Music Recap.

Since we started the site close to two years ago, we've found that by far the most popular topic among CSI fans is the music that's played on the show. Not a week goes by when we don't get several mails from people asking if we could help them identify a particular song from the most recent episode, and until Chris joined the team, we unfortunately were never really able to provide satisfactory answers.

We hope Chris's Recaps will change that, and also provide you with answers to musical questions you never even thought of asking - did you notice, for instance, that every CSI: New York episode features a unique transition to the opening theme? If you didn't, be sure to check out Chris's Music Recap - and also check back at Talk CSI over the next few days, as we'll be launching a new CSI Music forum to accompany Chris's columns.

Talk CSI Files threads

Below are some of the topics currently being discussed at Talk CSI:

-Keeping with the CSI music theme, which current songs do you think will be used on the show soon?

-In the Fan Art forum, there's a new Greg Szmanda wallpaper.

-And in General Television, the official 'Cold Case' thread has just launched.

Today's Television Listings

Tonight at 10:00pm, CBS will be repeating the CSI: Miami season premiere, "Lost Son." In the episode, the CSIs lose one of their own when a murder investigation turns deadly. After a large yacht slams into a major Miami bridge, the CSIs find that the man steering the boat was shot and killed. The victim's wife reveals that their son had been kidnapped and her husband had gone to pay the ransom with $3 million worth of jewels. When Horatio's investigation leads them into a dangerous situation at a jewelry shop that may contain crucial evidence, he must face the unimaginable when one of the team is killed in the line of duty.

Fortunately, the other two CSI episodes this week are new. On Wednesday at 10:00pm, Mac and Danny investigate the death of a construction worker who died 700 feet below Manhattan during an underground explosion, in CSI: New York's "A Man A Mile." Meanwhile, Stella and Aiden examine the death of a 16-year-old who was found strangled and floating in a creek.

And on Thursday at 9:00pm, the "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" installment of the original CSI is also new, though it will feature the return of an old favourite: the Blue Paint Killer. As the CSI team investigates the multiple murders on the WLVU college campus, they realize that the murders took place on the two-year anniversary of the execution of John Mathers, a man found guilty of murdering a woman in the same manner as these new victims at this college campus. The main clue tying four murders together is the blue paint found on all the victims' hands. The killer fooled the CSI team two years ago, when another murder took place the night of John Mathers' execution, and Grissom and team are determined to not let that happen again
