  • In the latest Ask Ausiello column, over at TVGuide.com, Mike Ausiello revealed some surprising news about an upcoming CSI: Miami storyline. "I hear Horatio is going to develop some serious daddy issues when he learns that his new squeeze — Delko's sister, Marisol — is preggers. The bombshell drops during May sweeps," he said. Head over to TV Guide to read it.

  • Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) told ABC news recently why he founded Operation Iraqi Children, an organization whose main goal is to provide Iraqi students with school supplies. "The school that we went to was very, very modest by our standards … nothing but a dirt floor — no windows, no fans, no toilets. It was just a cinder block structure with nothing. So the troops went in there. And they put a concrete floor in. They knocked some holes in. They put windows in. They put fans in. … To these kids and to those Iraqis who had been living there, dealing with that school, it was like a brand-new place. I was so moved by the experience and these kids were hanging on us and just hanging on the troops and just — They were so wonderful with our soldiers. … And so I came home and … founded Operation Iraqi Children."

  • If you're looking for screen caps of Miami's episode "Fade Out," specifically Jonathan Togo (Ryan Wolfe) centered, head over to Jonathan Togo Online.

  • The Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) website EP Online has been updated with images of the actress at the premiere of her latest movie Big Momma's Hosue 2. The website also has new pictures of Procter's appearance at the King World 2006 TCA Winter Press Tour Party.

  • In a now deleted article, the Futon Critic obtained a transcript of CBS's opening session of the TCA Winter Press Tour from last week. In this session, the CBS entertainment president revealed all three CSIs are still growing creatively, and therefore there are no intentions of creating a third spin-off.

  • Screen caps of the CSI episode "Kiss-Kiss, Bye-Bye," can now be found at JFO. The images center around Jorja Fox's character Sara Sidle.

  • But if you're looking for screen caps featuring the whole cast, CSI-Caps.com has been updated with more than 1,600 images from the episode. The website also has screen caps of the New York episode "Risk," and can be found here.

  • The Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) website Marg Helgenberger.com now has added a video of Helgenberger presenting the best male actor in a comedy series award at the SAG Awards, and has announced the actress will be a presenter at the Writers Guild Awards ceremony on February 4th.

  • According to the European CSI Forum, the 6th season of CSI premiered in Sweden, via Channel 5, on January 30th, and will air every Monday at 9 pm. Also, both parts of the the CSI episode "Grave Danger" will air in Norway in the same day, February 23rd. More European related news can be found at CSI Forum.

  • Yahoo News has revealed Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson has been cast in the Carol Mendelsohn pilot that was picked up by CBS early this year. The show, which still remains untitled, follows the lives of a couple of brilliant legal associates at a powerful D.C. law firm who battle moral, ethical and legal challenges under the tutelage of a ruthless managing partner.

  • LAist has revived a great fandom tradition and has created the David Caruso Drinking Game. The game only has 10 items on the list, including two chugs when Horatio puts on his sunglasses for dramatic purposes or four chugs when he calls Ryan "Mr. Wolfe," but guarantees to be great fun. "If you aren't a fan of CSI: Miami, trust us, you will be after one round of Caruso playing. Oh yeah, and it really helps if you don't have to be anywhere early on Tuesday morning. Bottoms up!"

  • The Futon Critic is back again this year with its list of 50 best episodes of 2005, and CSI's "Room Service" has made the cut at #45. "Two by-the-numbers storylines - a rising young movie star is found dead in a compromising position and an immigrant kitchen worker is murdered - get a surprisingly effective bump by being told as an "Upstairs/Downstairs"-esque fable." Surprisingly, "Grave Danger" wasn't in the list.

  • CSI hasn't just been getting young people interested in science, it's also made criminals interested in learning ways to get away with crime. Criminals who watch CSI, following the show's creative plots, have been known to wear gloves, use bleach to get rid of incriminating DNA, burn their victim's bodies, etc. It's cause for concern, but the kicker is most of these criminals get caught anyway. "Most people who commit crimes are not very bright and don't take many precautions," said Larry Pozner, former president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. "CSI and all the other crime shows will make no difference."

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
