Synopsis: "A Chinatown robbery by three men goes south when one security guard is killed and the other mistakenly fires shots at a gas tank, burning two of the robbers alive. While investigating the heist, Stella uncovers a kidnapping plot involving the bank’s manager. Also, the team must find new clues when the kidnappers' ransom drop spot is blocked by an unannounced police terrorist response drill."

Notes

  • The CSIs investigate an explosive bank robbery at a bank in Chinatown. It appears the robbers had someone on the inside, a theory which is confirmed when it is revealed the bank manager's baby had been kidnapped. (October 10, 2004 - CSI Files)

  • Scenes from this episode were filmed on location in New York. While filming in the city, the producers of the show and star Melina Kanakaredes were caught in a rain storm near Central Park. An unannounced police terrorist response drill allowed the producers to create new scenes and incorporate New York’s finest into the filming of the show.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
