Veasey Divides Her Time Between ‘CSI:NY’ & ‘Ringer’

CSI: New York executive producer Pam Veasey will be doing double-duty this fall by serving as showrunner for the Big Apple-based crime drama as well as the new CW series Ringer. She is able to juggle the responsibilities for both programmes by thinking of them like a family. “CSI: NY is the freshman you send off to college,” she told Variety. “They already know all of the rules, so you talk to them on the phone every once in a while to check in. Ringer is the high school student who is still trying to learn things about life.” Veasey added that having a good group of people working for her makes it easier to delegate responsibility: “Once you start to trust who you’ve brought on as your team, you start to let it go.”

Veasey Joins ‘Ringer’ As Showrunner

According to the Futon Critic, CSI: New York executive producer Pam Veasey will serve as executive producer and showrunner for the CBS drama pilot Ringer. Sarah Michelle Gellar stars in the pilot, which revolves around a young woman named Bridget Cafferty. Bridget is on the run from the mob, and she decides to take over the life of her twin sister Siobhan Marx—until she discovers that Siobhan is also in trouble. Ringer also stars Tara Summers, Ioan Gruffudd, Mike Colter and Nestor Carbonell. Veasey will serve as executive producer alongside Peter Traugott. Richard Shepard will direct the pilot, which was co-written by Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder.
