Interview: Eddie Cahill

Eddie Cahill‘s character, Don Flack, took the spotlight in this season’s fifth episode, when a high-profile case paralleled the struggles between Flack and his sister, Samantha. Though Flack is always on deck to provide a sharp quip or get his daily workout chasing after a suspect, the long awaited return of Samantha Flack brought the NYPD detective to the forefront. Speaking exclusively with CSI Files’ Shane Saunders, Cahill–in his charming Irish accent–discusses the brother-sister reunion, working with a new leading lady, and the show’s future.

Vaugier Revisits ‘Two And A Half Men’

Former CSI: New York actress Emmanuelle Vaugier (Jessica Angell) will guest star on the CBS series Two and a Half Men on Monday, May 17 at 9:00pm ET/PT. She is reprising her previous role as Mia in the episode, which finds Charlie (Charlie Sheen) faced with the “ghosts of girlfriends past”.

Vaugier Joins ‘Covert Affairs’

Former CSI: New York actress Emmanuelle Vaugier (Jessica Angell) has been cast as a recurring character in the upcoming USA Network series Covert Affairs, which stars Piper Perabo as a CIA trainee who suddenly gets promoted to field operative. Vaugier will play a “fearless journalist/blogger”. Covert Affairs will premiere on the USA Network Tuesday, July 13 after the second season premiere of White Collar. Vaugier Joins ‘Human Target’ This Month

CSI Files previously reported that former CSI: New York actress Emmanuelle Vaugier (Jessica Angell) would be joining the cast of the new Fox series Human Target as FBI agent Emma Barnes in multiple episodes. Target stars Mark Valley as Christopher Chance, a private detective turned elite bodyguard who goes undercover to protect his clients. Vaugier’s first appearance will air on Wednesday, January 27 at 8:00pm ET/PT.

According to a press release for the episode, “Embassy Row”, “Chance races against time and crashes a black-tie affair at the Russian Embassy to find a friend’s killer. As he becomes embroiled in an international arms deal, he meets his match in a beautiful female counterpart.” Two pictures of Vaugier and Valley from the episode can be found on Daemon’s TV.

Vaugier Joins ‘Human Target’

Emmanuelle Vaugier played Detective Jessica Angell on CSI: New York for three seasons before her character died in the season five finale, “Pay Up”. The actress has now signed on to play an FBI agent named Emma Barnes in multiple episodes of the upcoming Fox series Human Target. Based on a DC Comic series, Target centers around Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a private detective turned elite bodyguard who goes undercover to protect his clients. Target will premiere on Fox in January. There has been no word on when Vaugier’s episodes will begin.
