Sophie Sinise, daughter of CSI: NY’s leading man Gary Sinise, makes her acting debut in the episode. D.B. Sweeney has appeared on CSI (“Early Rollout”) and Miami (“Body Count”). Joe Manganiello also has credits for the other two members of the franchise (“Daddy’s Little Girl” for CSI and “Target Specific” for Miami). Kristin Richardson guest-starred in “Room Service” during CSI’s sixth season, and she appeared in “CSI: My Nanny” during the sixth season of Miami. Judith Hoag was in the CSI episode “Getting Off” during the show’s fourth season, and Jeff Perry was in the season three episode “Last Laugh”.

Rounding out the week on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air “Sin City Blue”, and the team will continue its pursuit of a serial killer:

Two beautiful women are murdered in a Las Vegas hotel and the CSIs uncover an unusual killer during their investigation. Meanwhile, Langston continues to hunt ‘Dr. Jekyll’.

Executive producer Louis Milito directed the episode, which marks his third time in the director’s chair. His latest credit is for last season’s “Hog Heaven”. The story for “Sin City Blue” was written by Daniel Steck, who also wrote the story for “If I Had a Hammer” last season. David Rambo and Jacqueline Hoyt penned the teleplay for the episode. Rambo has 18 writing credits for the show, including “Coup de Grace” from earlier this season. Hoyt has 10 credits, most recently for this season’s “Death and the Maiden”.

Jon Wellner and Jose Zuniga are reprising established recurring roles, and Larry Mitchell and Joseph Patrick Kelly are back as Officer Mitchell and Officer Metcalf. Supervising producer Dustin Lee Abraham will take his turn in front of the camera by playing a man with a hangover in the episode. Raphael Sbarge has appeared in all three members of the franchise: he was in “Ch-Ch-Changes” during the fifth season of CSI, “Backstabbers” during Miami’s fifth season and the season one finale of New York, “What You See is What You See”. Bernardo Badillo guest-starred in the Miami episode “Chip/Tuck” during season seven.

“Show Stopper”, “Criminal Justice” and “Sin City Blue” begin airing January 11 on CBS.
