CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) appeared in the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday, January 9. Harper visited his friend Cynthia Bailey and her boyfriend Peter Thomas to offer advice based on his latest book The Conversation: How Black Men and Women Can Build Loving, Trusting Relationships. CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) will take part in a Nightline Face Off on Friday, April 9. The topic of the debate is “Why can’t a successful black woman find a man?” Harper, who is the author of The Conversation: How Black Men and Women Can Build Loving, Trusting Relationships, will discuss expectations and stereotypes about African-American men.

Harper will be joined by The View co-host Sherri Shepherd, Jacque Reid from VH1′s Let’s Talk About Pep and Jimi Izrael, author of The Denzel Principle. Nightline‘s Vicki Mabrey will co-moderate the debate with Steve Harvey, author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. The Face Off will take place at 7:00pm EDT on April 9 at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center in Decatur, Georgia.

Hill Harper (CSI: New York‘s Dr Sheldon Hawkes) released his third book, The Conversation, on September 8. Publisher Gotham Books ordered a 20,000 reprint of the book just two days after its release. Based on this week’s sales, The Conversation will be #2 in the Hardcover Advice section of the New York Times national bestseller list, which will be in the paper Sunday, September 27.
