CSI: Miami’s Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) won the 2011 ALMA award for “Favorite TV Actor—Leading Role”. The ALMA Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions made by Latinos in the areas of television, film, and music. The awards ceremony will air Friday, September 16 at 8:00pm ET on NBC.
Rodriguez’s costar Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) was nominated for an ALMA award in the “Favorite TV Actress—Leading Role in a Drama” category, but she lost to fellow CBS star Cote de Pablo (NCIS). La Rue attended the event with her husband Joe Cappuccio, and she shared several pictures on Twitter featuring herself, her husband and Rodriguez—click each thumbnail to see the image full-sized:

As CSI Files previously reported, Adam Rodriguez (CSI: Miami’s Eric Delko) joined the cast of the upcoming independent drama Magic Mike. According to Deadline, Rodriguez will play a stripper in the film. The site also reports that Rodriguez has signed on for a small role in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.

CSI: Miami actor Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) posted on Twitter that he has been cast in the upcoming independent drama Magic Mike. Steven Soderbergh is directing the film based on a script by Reid Carolin. The story centers around the titular Magic Mike, played by Channing Tatum, a stripper and dancer who mentors a younger stripper played by Alex Pettyfer. The movie is based on Tatum’s experience as a stripper when he was 19, and other actors signed on to the movie include Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Riley Keough, Cody Horn and Olivia Munn.

Season Nine of CSI: Miami left viewers with a startling conclusion: Horatio Caine shot and Natalia Boa Vista locked in a car that is sinking to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Though in season’s past the fate of Ryan Wolfe has also been up in the air, the former police officer is alive and well as the spin-off set in The Magic City prepares to enter its tenth season. Jonathan Togo, the Massachusetts-born actor who’s portrayed the role for the past seven years, spoke with CSI Files’ Shane Saunders this past weekend from his Los Angeles home. In the following interview Togo previews the upcoming season, what it’s like working on a soon-to-be decade old series, the power of Twitter, and those infamous sweater vests. Spoilers inside!

CSI: Miami actor Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) shared a picture from the set, which offers fans a glimpse behind the scenes as they film a scene where Eric and Horatio Caine (David Caruso) are ‘driving through a tornado’. The second image was provided by CBS, and it features what appears to be a (fake) deformed human fetus on the set of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The third picture, courtesy of Vernon Cheek, is also from CSI, and it simply shows a folder from the desk of DB Russell (newcomer Ted Danson). Click to see each image full-sized:

CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) posted a picture of himself getting makeup applied on the set of the season eight premiere, and you can see that image here. Two episodes remain in CSI: Miami’s ninth season, and as always the show plans on closing the season with a bang. With the penultimate episode, “G.O.”, set to air tomorrow night, series star Omar Benson Miller, who plays art-theft specialist Walter Simmons, previews the final two episodes of the season, his growing friendship with Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo), and more with CSI Files’ Shane Saunders.

CBS posted a picture of Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) behind the scenes of tonight’s episode, “Hunting Ground”, which he wrote and directed. The picture also features leading man David Caruso (Horatio Caine). Producer Jerry Bruckheimer shared two images from the set of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The first picture features tech advisors Larry Mitchell and Richard Catalani, and the second includes cast members Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass), George Eads (Nick Stokes), Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders) and Marc Vann (Conrad Ecklie).
