As CSI Files previously reported, American Airlines (AA) shipped 20 tons of school supplies to Iraq for Operation International Children (OIC) back in April. The organization, formerly known as Operation Iraqi Children, was co-founded by CSI: New York star Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor). AA recently helped OIC again by delivering 7,660 school kits and Croc™ shoes to children in Afghanistan during Sinise’s recent trip to perform for American troops in honor of Thanksgiving.

“We admire the work that Gary Sinise and his organization have done to help the children in Iraq and Afghanistan,” said AA’s Senior Vice President for Domestic Airport Services, Tom Del Valle, who accompanied Sinise to Afghanistan. “It is an honor to participate in this mission and spend time with our troops during the holiday season.”
