Pre-order Harper’s New Book ‘The Wealth Cure’

Actor and author Hill Harper (CSI: New York’s Dr Sheldon Hawkes) has published three successful nonfiction books: Letters to a Young Brother and Letters to a Young Sister seek to offer advice and encouragement to young men and women, and The Conversation aims to help African-American men and women open up the lines of communication to develop deep and lasting relationships. On August 23, Harper’s fourth book will hit store shelves. The Wealth Cure: Putting Money in Its Place offers “a revolutionary new definition of wealth, motivating readers to not only build financial security but to also achieve wealth in every aspect of their lives.” The book is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.com and other online retailers.

Harper Receives Lexus Pursuit Of Perfection Award

Hill Harper (CSI: New York’s Dr Sheldon Hawkes) was honored with the Lexus Pursuit of Perfection Award in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this week. The award recognizes the achievements of successful African Americans who have had a positive influence on their community.

Harper Finishes Book #4

CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) is also a successful author. So far, he has published three books, including two for young people (Letters to a Young Brother and Letters to a Young Sister) and one for adults (The Conversation). Harper posted on Twitter that he has finished his fourth book, although the topic remains a secret for now. The book will be released in September.

Harper Speaks At Indiana University

CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) will speak at Indiana University on Saturday, February 19. Harper’s lecture is part of the school’s Black History Month activities, and the event is free and open to the public. “I believe that Hill Harper is an excellent person to bring to campus to speak on the topic of diversity,” said Union Board lectures director George Thomas. “His success is honorable, and he is a role model for all students.”

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Laurence Fishburne (Dr Ray Langston) and CSI: New York’s Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) were nominated in the “Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series” category for the 42nd NAACP Image Awards. The award ceremony will air live on March 4 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT on Fox.
