CSI Files previously reported that CSI: New York’s Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer) has a starring role in the upcoming film Duke. New York composer Bill Brown also worked on the movie, and he posted some pictures from the studio on Facebook. You can check out the images, which include several shots of Giovinazzo playing guitar, here.

CSI: New York actor Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer) got married last year, and now he and wife Vanessa Marcil-Giovinazzo are expecting a child. The actress revealed that she is pregnant on Twitter. This marks baby number two for Marcil-Giovinazzo, who has a 9-year-old son named Kassius with her ex, Brian Austin Green.

CSI Files previously reported that CSI: New York actor Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer) was working on a new film. Duke now has its own Facebook page, which features images from the movie. In addition to Giovinazzo, New York fans may recognize several other actors who have appeared on the crime drama. Vanessa Ferlito played former CSI Aiden Burn during the first two seasons of CSI: NY, Carmen Argenziano butted heads with the CSIs as Inspector Stanton Gerrard during seasons three and four, and Lesley-Ann Brandt appeared as Camille Jordanson in two episodes during season seven. Fredro Starr (“Cuckoo’s Nest”), Hank Harris (“Down the Rabbit Hole”) and Michael Irby (“Exit Strategy”) also have guest-starring credits on New York.

Actors from all three CSI series filmed short videos for AXN Japan, which offer words of support for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami that devastated the country last month. Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass) and Laurence Fishburne (Dr Ray Langston) represented CSI: Crime Scene Investigation; Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) joined his CSI: New York costars Eddie Cahill (Don Flack) and Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer), and CSI: Miami’s Jonathan Togo (Ryan Wolfe), David Caruso (Horatio Caine) and Rex Linn (Frank Tripp) offered their condolences. Each video ends with the phrase “We are tomodachi”, which means “We are friends”, and you can find them embedded after the jump.

CSI: New York actor Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer) is reportedly working on a new film called Duke, which is “a modern day telling of a classic western film.” Duke is currently in pre-production, and rumoured cast members include Jonathan Jackson and Giovinazzo’s former New York costar Vanessa Ferlito (Aiden Burn).

TVLine.com posted an exclusive clip from this week’s episode of CSI: New York, “Do or Die”, which features Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay Monroe (Anna Belknap) talking about their daughter Lucy’s education. “We’re at a private school and Lindsay’s thinking it’s a good place for Lucy,” Giovinazzo explained. “But Danny says she’s not going to a school like this—I want her in a good ol’ fashioned public school.”

CSI: New York actor AJ Buckley (Adam Ross) posted several pictures on Twitter. CSI: New York’s newest cast member Sela Ward (Jo Danville) shared several pictures on Twitter. The first image features Ward alongside costars Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer), Anna Belknap (Lindsay Monroe), Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and Eddie Cahill (Don Flack). E! Online will post an interview with the producers of CSI: New York in January, but for now the site offered a small tease for fans of Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay (Anna Belknap) Messer. Composer Bill Brown has been with CSI: New York since the show’s first season, scoring the music that highlights the show’s twists, turns and character moments. Most recently, Brown was tapped by CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker to score the cyber-bridges for his new Level 26 novel, Dark Prophecy. The soundtrack to Dark Prophecy was released the same week the book was published from Moviescore Media, which comments that the score “fuses live orchestral elements with electronic and ambient textures, and features a number of thematic ideas. The album features dark suspense music and contrasting reflective underscoring, as well as some exciting action.”

Brown took time out of his busy schedule to share with CSI Files his experience scoring both Dark Prophecy and CSI: New York:
