CSI Files previously reported that Eddie Cibrian (CSI: Miami‘s Jesse Cardoza) planned to take legal action against Life & Style Magazine over a fake story claiming that the actor cheated on his girlfriend, LeAnn Rimes, with Scheana Marie Jancan. Jancan claimed to be an ex-mistress of the Miami actor and said Cibrian would cheat on Rimes with other women. Life & Style ran a story in October that suggested Cibrian and Jancan were dating behind Rimes’ back.

It is now being reported that Cibrian has filed a $1 million lawsuit against the magazine for defamation. In the suit, lawyers claim the articles “falsely portray Eddie as being unfaithful to Ms. Rimes, as currently being in a romantic with Ms. Jancan, and as having abandoned his children.”

The CSIs attempt to determine what caused an SUV to crash into a car, killing two people and leaving several others injured.

CSI: Miami actor Eddie Cibrian (Jesse Cardoza) is planning to take legal action against Life & Style Magazine for a false story they printed alleging that Cibrian cheated on girlfriend LeAnn Rimes. “Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales, but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others,” the actor’s representative said in a statement. “This is irresponsible and wreckless journalism. Eddie has met with his attorneys and will be filing a suit for libel and other actionable grounds shortly. It’s a shame that Life & Style resorted to a story of this nature and they will regretfully now have to face scrutiny of untruthful reporting in a court proceeding.”

After a crooked financier is found dead aboard his plane, the Miami team must find out who among the many people angry at him actually killed him.

CSI: Miami actor Eddie Cibrian (Jesse Cardoza) has been in the headlines recently following his divorce and his current relationship with country singer LeAnn Rimes. However, costar Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) revealed that the actor does not bring his personal life to the Miami set. “I know he’s going through a lot of personal stuff right now, but he’s super-professional and doesn’t bring any of it to work,” La Rue said. She added that Cibrian is “a great guy”, and working with him has been “really fun”.

The team tracks an inventive killer after three young men drop dead at a beach volleyball game.
