CBS Stars Fight Breast Cancer

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and CBS has joined forces with Ford Warriors in Pink. From now through the end of the month, CBS will air short television spots featuring stars like Marg Helgenberger (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s Catherine Willows) and Emily Procter (CSI: Miami’s Calleigh Duquesne). The Cast Of ‘New York’ Stands Up To Cancer

A lab coat from the set of CSI: New York is up for auction on eBay. All proceeds will benefit Stand Up To Cancer. The coat was worn on the show, and it features autographs from New York cast members Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor), Sela Ward (Jo Danville), Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer), Anna Belknap (Lindsay Monroe), Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes), Eddie Cahill (Don Flack), Robert Joy (Sr Sid Hammerback) and AJ Buckley (Adam Ross). Vote To Build The ‘Manifest Your Destiny House’

Hill Harper (CSI: New York‘s Dr Sheldon Hawkes) is asking fans to vote for the Manifest Your Destiny House Program in New Orleans, Louisiana. CBS Supports Haitian Earthquake Relief

On Friday, January 22 at 8:00pm ET/PT, CBS will present Hope for Haiti along with ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, and CMT. The networks will air the global telethon commercial-free in order to raise funds for five organizations currently providing earthquake relief in Haiti following the devastating disaster that took place on Tuesday, January 12. The two-hour telethon will feature musical performances and celebrity appearances, and it will be hosted by George Clooney in Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean in New York City and CNN’s Anderson Cooper from Haiti. The organizations that will receive funding from the event are Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF and Yele Haiti Foundation.

Jewelry Designer Raju Rasiah is also helping with disaster relief by auctioning pieces of his jewelry to benefit the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. Stars such as CSI: Miami actress Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) will wear the designer’s jewelry to the Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Awards over the next two weeks, and Rasiah will then donate the pieces to raise money through his website.

United Way Raffles Off Visit To ‘New York’ Set

United Way of Summit County in Ohio is holding a raffle to win a trip to Los Angeles, California and visit the set of CSI: New York. The prize includes two plane tickets (up to $1,000 value) on AirTran Airlines, four nights in a Los Angeles-area Starwood Hotel, a tour of the New York set and autographed memorabilia. All proceeds from the raffle will go to United Way of Summit County, which seeks to “improve lives by mobilizing community assets for health and human services,” according to the official website.

“The winner of this raffle will get a chance to travel to Los Angeles and experience a behind-the-scenes tour of this exciting TV show,” said United Way of Summit County President Bob Kulinski. “We’re very thankful to our friends at Allstate, AirTran and State and Federal Communications for helping to make this possible.” The drawing will take place on Friday, February 19.

Harper Hosts ‘Toys For Tots’ Drive

CSI: New York actor Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) is taking part in a “Toys for Tots” toy drive today, December 19 from 2:00-6:00pm PST at Dillon’s Pub & Grill in Los Angeles, California. For more information, check out the Facebook page for the event. For those would like to participate but can’t make it or don’t live in the Los Angeles area, Harper shared another way to help.

Charity Auction Features ‘New York’ Set Visit

CSI: New York star Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) donated a package to charitybuzz to be auctioned off in support of American service members. The package features two first class tickets from anywhere in the continental United States to Los Angeles, California courtesy of American Airlines. Once in Los Angeles, the auction winner and his or her guest will spend three nights at the Loews Santa Monica hotel and visit the set of CSI: New York with Sinise himself. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Friends of the Fighting 69th.

Walk-On ‘CSI’ Role Up For Auction

The 7th annual Stand Up For A Cure charity event will be held Sunday, October 25 in Los Angeles, California. All proceeds will benefit the Diabetes Research Institute, which is focused on finding a cure. One of the items that will be up for auction at the event is a walk-on role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
