Check Out Studio Photos From ‘Duke’ Featuring Giovinazzo

CSI Files previously reported that CSI: New York’s Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer) has a starring role in the upcoming film Duke. New York composer Bill Brown also worked on the movie, and he posted some pictures from the studio on Facebook. You can check out the images, which include several shots of Giovinazzo playing guitar, here.

CSI: New York actor AJ Buckley (Adam Ross) posted several pictures on Twitter. The first image features Buckley alongside costar Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer), and the second picture shows the crew on set getting ready to film a scene. CSI: NY composer Bill Brown put a picture on Facebook that offers fans a glimpse of the audio mixing process for episode 7.15. Set designer Will Batts shared an image of a ‘subway station’ that will be used for an upcoming episode, and Tim Carr posted a picture of Mac Taylor’s (Gary Sinise) office. Interview: Bill Brown

Composer Bill Brown has been with CSI: New York since the show’s first season, scoring the music that highlights the show’s twists, turns and character moments. Most recently, Brown was tapped by CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker to score the cyber-bridges for his new Level 26 novel, Dark Prophecy. The soundtrack to Dark Prophecy was released the same week the book was published from Moviescore Media, which comments that the score “fuses live orchestral elements with electronic and ambient textures, and features a number of thematic ideas. The album features dark suspense music and contrasting reflective underscoring, as well as some exciting action.”

Brown took time out of his busy schedule to share with CSI Files his experience scoring both Dark Prophecy and CSI: New York:

Brown’s ‘Dark Prophecy’ Soundtrack Is Now Available

The cyber bridges for CSI creator Anthony Zuiker’s second digi-novel, Dark Prophecy, feature original music written by CSI: New York composer Bill Brown. Fans can listen to music from the soundtrack on the MovieScore Media website. MovieScore Media offers two ways to purchase the soundtrack: the songs can be downloaded for $9.99, or fans can order a CD for $17.95. The Dark Prophecy soundtrack is also available for purchase on iTunes for $9.99, or individual songs can be purchased for $0.99 each.

Brown Fosters ‘New York”s ‘Musical Universe’
