Batts & Abraham Share Pics

CSI: New York set designer Will Batts is back at work on the show’s eighth season, and he posted several pictures on Twitter. The first features EDNA, one of the pieces of lab equipment from the show, and the second shows a location on the Paramount backlot that looks like the exterior of buildings in New York City. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation co-executive producer Dustin Lee Abraham recently posed with former Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman, who will guest star in an upcoming episode of the crime drama. Last week, Abraham shared several more classic pictures from the CSI set, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of “Popping Tags” and “Grave Danger”—the “Grave Danger” image features director Jeffrey Hunt, who worked as a camera operator on the episode. Go Behind The Scenes As ‘CSI:NY’ Creates A Sky Bridge

CBS posted a new “Under the Microscope” blog entry which features CSI: New York production designer Vaughan Edwards. Edwards offers a glimpse of what goes into creating a set for the series—in this case, the sky bridge designed by Will Batts for this week’s episode, “The Untouchable”. CSI: New York actor AJ Buckley (Adam Ross) posted several pictures on Twitter. The first image features Buckley alongside costar Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer), and the second picture shows the crew on set getting ready to film a scene. CSI: NY composer Bill Brown put a picture on Facebook that offers fans a glimpse of the audio mixing process for episode 7.15. Set designer Will Batts shared an image of a ‘subway station’ that will be used for an upcoming episode, and Tim Carr posted a picture of Mac Taylor’s (Gary Sinise) office. CSI Files previously posted pictures of rappers Yelawolf and Paul Wall on the set of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. You can find two more pictures of the rappers below. The first contains Wall and Yelawolf on the ground (and includes a rude hand gesture), and the second features Wall alongside George Eads (Nick Stokes) and co-executive producer Dustin Lee Abraham. Batts Shares Another Image Of ‘CSI:NY’ Sky Bridge

CSI: New York set designer Will Batts previously shared a picture of a sky bridge replica under construction for an upcoming episode of the series. The set is a reproduction of the three-story Gimbels Sky Bridge, which crosses 32nd Street in Manhattan. Batts & Sinise Post Twitpics From The ‘New York’ Set

CSI: New York’s leading man Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and set designer Will Batts shared several set pictures on Twitter. Batts posted a door with “squibs” attached to simulate bullet hits, and he also shared an image of a church that will appear in the upcoming ninth episode. The same church can be seen in a picture Sinise posted, and guest star John Larroquette appears in the second image shared by the actor. Click each picture to see it full-sized:
