Bieber Receives ‘Teen Choice’ Nomination For His ‘CSI’ Role
Wednesday, June 29th, 2011Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber appeared in two episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation during the show’s eleventh season, “Shock Waves” and “Targets of Obsession”. Bieber has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award in the “Choice TV Villain” category for his role as Jason McCann. The 2011 Teen Choice Awards will air live on Fox on Sunday, August 7 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT.
Helgenberger Accepts Monte Carlo Award On Behalf Of ‘CSI’
Friday, June 10th, 2011For the fourth time in six years, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation won the award for the most watched television show in the world at the 2011 Monte Carlo Television Festival. ‘CSI’ & ‘Miami’ Receive Golden Reel Nominations
Monday, January 31st, 2011The Motion Picture Sound Editors have released the list of nominees for the 2011 Golden Reel Awards, which honor the year’s best work in the different areas of sound editing. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (“Unshockable”) and CSI: Miami (“LA”) were nominated in the “Best Sound Editing: Short Form Music in Television” category. CBS received a third nomination for The Mentalist in the “Best Sound Editing: Short Form Dialogue and ADR in Television” category for the episode “The Red Ponies”. The 58th Golden Reel Award ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 20 in Los Angeles, California.

‘CSI:NY’ Loses SAG Stunt Award To ‘True Blood’
Monday, January 31st, 2011CSI Files previously reported that CSI: New York was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award in the “Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series” category. HBO’s True Blood took home the award on Sunday, January 30. Although CSI: NY went home empty-handed, SAG did honor CBS by giving the award for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series” to The Good Wife’s leading lady Julianna Margulies.

Fox Receives Award For Animal Activism
Tuesday, August 24th, 2010CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actress Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) will attend 9.02.10 Day on September 2. The event will take place in Beverly Hills, California—the home of the 90210 zip code. Fox will receive a special award for her work in support of animal causes, which will be presented by Wayne Pacelle, the President and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco will also receive an award, and she will represent the animal community at 9.02.10 Day on behalf of the HSUS.
