NCIS, NCIS: NOLA and NCIS: LA

NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Los Angeles will air their season premieres this week. (Criminal Minds isn’t on the schedule.)

NCIS kicks things off with “Rogue” on Tuesday at 8:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the synopsis for the season 14 premiere (more information here):

The NCIS team investigates a deadly car explosion in D.C. that connects to NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), who disappeared six months ago while on a deep undercover assignment in Argentina. Also, Gibbs asks NCIS Special Agent Alexandra “Alex” Quinn (Jennifer Esposito) to shadow his team after rejecting eight agents she instructed and referred for the open position.

The new series Bull will follow, with NCIS: NOLA rounding out the primetime schedule at 10:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the description for the season three premiere, “Aftershocks” (more information here):

The NCIS team partners with several federal agencies to track a sniper who is targeting crowded events in the city. Also, FBI Special Agent Tammy Gregorio (new cast member Vanessa Ferlito) arrives to investigate Pride and his team.

Criminal Minds is not on the schedule Wednesday. Instead, CBS is airing the season premiere of Survivor from 8:00-9:30pm ET/PT, followed by the season finale of Big Brother from 9:30-11:00pm ET/PT. Criminal Minds will offer its season premiere next week.


On Saturday, CBS will air repeats of NCIS: LA and NCIS: NOLA from 8:00-10:00pm ET/PT. Here are the episode synopses:

“Citadel” – DEA agent Talia Del Campo (Mercedes Mason) turns to the NCIS: Los Angeles team for help after her partner is murdered. Also, after Kensi grows suspicious that Deeks is hiding something, he surprises her by introducing her to his mother (Pamela Reed).

“Touched By the Sun” – When a female combat pilot and Navy hero dies in an air-show plane crash, the NCIS team must investigate if it’s the fault of the pilot or the new jet that was just approved to deploy to bases globally.


Finally, NCIS: LA will offer the two-hour season eight premiere on Sunday. As CSI Files previously reported, the show is scheduled to air from 8:30-10:30pm ET/8:00-10:00pm PT, in order to accommodate an NFL doubleheader. (Further delays are possible.) Here are the episode summaries:

“High-Value Target” and “Belly of the Beast” – After NCIS fails to locate a mole in the department, Under Secretary of Defense Corbin Duggan (Jackson Hurst) insists on new leadership and takes over the Los Angeles unit from Hetty and Granger. Also, the team travels to Syria to apprehend a High Value Target where one team member is severely injured when the mission goes awry.
