Eads Prepares To Exit ‘CSI’

George Eads (Nick Stokes) has been on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation since the show began in 2000, but TV Guide reports that he will be leaving the crime drama after the current season ends. Eads’ final episode will be the finale of season 15, which was previously trimmed to 18 episodes, and his exit will be related to the conclusion of the Gig Harbor storyline. There has been no official statement about Eads’ departure, but sources told TV Guide it was an amicable decision.

Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass) was the most recent original cast member to leave the show, exiting after the season 14 finale. Last season, Eads missed several episodes due to a behind-the-scenes disagreement. He and co-star Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) were temporarily fired back in 2004 before returning to the show.
