‘CSI:NY’ Renewed For Season 9

1 min read

There is good news and bad news for fans of the CSI franchise today, as CBS has revealed the fate of the two spinoffs. CSI Files previously reported that the network has decided to end CSI: Miami after ten seasons, choosing to cancel the more expensive series in favor of the younger, cheaper-to-produce CSI: New York. Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor) and the rest of the New York crew will be back in the fall for a ninth season, joining CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which was previously renewed for season thirteen.

  1. PESSIMA NOTICIA,POIS DEVERIA SER CSI MIAMI E CSI NEW YORK A SEREM RENOVADAS,POREM A DIRETORIA DA CBS, NÃO TEM CONSIDERAÇÃO PELOS FANS E SIM POR SIFRAS GASTAS,PREFERE INVESTIR EM SHOWS SEM FUTURO, SEM GRAÇA E SEM HISTÓRIA

  2. I just watched the season finale. It’s funny because they made the episode as though it was the Series finale! 😀 … Now they are happy they’ll be back.

  3. I´m happy for CSI NY, but not for CSI Miami, I loved this show too, anyways, 10 years are a lot of, I wish good luck for the crew, and the cast of CSI Miami.

  4. CSI:NY is amazing! So pleased that they’re doing a ninth season! I’ve never been so much of a fan of CSI:Miami so I feel CBS have made a wise decision!

  5. will sure miss CSI Miami and the entire cast.. Thanks for keeping CSI New York.. Can’t wait for Season 9..

  6. Will surely miss CSI Miami and the entire cast.. Thanks for keeping CSI NY.. Can’t wait for season 9..

  7. I’m exited that csi ny is being renewed and I hope to see it more suspenseful, action, and a nice story behind it than it has been for me to hold the edge of my seat.
I also hope it does well enough to earn a Emmy or golden globe award or perhaps both.

  8. I like all three shows, and I started watching CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in at the start of season 10, when Laurence Fishburne took over. Same with CSi: NY, which I started watching in season 7. And CSI: Miami, in season 8 (I think). It’s too bad that CSI: Miami won’t be back, but I’m happy that the other two shows are back. I was upset that ABC cancelled Missing. I actually enjoyed watching that show. They ended it so badly. ABC needs to bring back that show.

  9. I@m somewhat glad that CSI : Miami has been finished. This was never much of a CSI programme as compared to both CSI LV and CSI NY. It was more the David Caruso Police Show.
Unfortunately not particularly well acted and in some cases downright boring watching him say the same thing week after week whilst removing his sunglasses.
How about doing a series of CSI Boston. May make another good series.

  10. I love Sela Ward so I feel nice when CSI:NY come back.Ah,why Mac Taylor doesn’t love Jo Danville?I feel they very very …..

  11. I can not believe they got rid off CSI Miami, get rid of Las vegas, so not happy!!1

  12. Yeah. Much better show, Miami was just getting too tired and the characters had no depth.

  13. So glad to hear the CSI:NY was renewed!! It is my favorite of the franchise!! Not surprised that CSI:Miami has been dropped. CBS certainly made the right decision this time!!

  14. cant wait to see it in the uk on 5usa love this programme and gary sinise
