Former Charlie’s Angels actress Jaclyn Smith will appear in an upcoming episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. (Minor spoilers after the jump!)
According to TV Guide, Smith will play the mother of lab tech David Hodges (Wallace Langham). She’ll get to interact with Hodges’ coworkers when she makes a surprise visit to the crime lab.

I am 80 years old and this is my first time ever contacting the base programming manager of the CSI: series. The addition of Ted Danson to the Crime Investigator show has invigorated a very tired and about to fail series. Mr. Danson’s coming was a stroke of genius in that his sense of humor and dramatic skills have once again, brought this series to the top of the CSI heap. NYC CSI has taken a hit since the change in female lead…Sinus is still one of the best, but when the “Greek gal” (sorry, can’t spell her name) left, her replacement is arrogant and in no way has enhanced the show. CSI Miami has been a tired and over frilled series for a while now…lost it’s shine…very tired of the red head’s crooked stares and the bad guys. BUT ONCE AGAIN…HOORAY FOR TED DANSON…HE WAS YOUR SUPER BOWL WIN.

Mr Bob Hastings, I’m in Brazil and a huge fan of CSI. I have been following the show since it’s Pilot episode, watched every one of them probably 3 times and couldn’t agree more with your words. TD was a very interesting and refreshing cast to the show and his presence plus the original crew seam to have regained his inspiration. Wish you the best.

Thats great to see her back on TV. Im looking forward to watch it. I havent seen her since she played on Law & Order:SVU two years ago. It was sad to see Marge Helgenberger who played Catherine Willows leave the show after 11 years. Hope Marge will be doing great. Im grateful Ted Danson is back on CSI. Welcome him to CSI.
