Wellner Joins VisionWalk To Fight Blindness

VisionWalk is “the national signature fundraising event of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Since its inception in the Spring of 2006, the program has raised over $17 million to fund sight-saving research.” Wellner is affected with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a genetic condition that causes blindness over time. “[W]ithout research,” he said, “there’s little chance that sight can be restored to millions of people living in the dark.”
