TNT Orders Pilot For Mendelson’s ‘Scent of the Missing’
1 min readCSI Files previously reported that TNT was developing a drama called Scent of the Missing, which centers around a search-and-rescue officer and her golden retriever partner. According to Deadline, TNT has given a pilot order for the series. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Executive Producer Carol Mendelsohn is an executive producer on the project, and she co-wrote the script with CSI writers/co-executive producers Melissa Byer and Treena Hancock.
Mendelsohn is also executive producing two projects in development for CBS. Two Badges is a procedural based on Mona Ruiz’s memoir about a former gang member who becomes a detective. The female-centered script was written by Ted Humphrey. The other project is untitled, and it was written by David Hubbard. The drama centers around a detective who has lost three partners in the line of duty. The families of his fallen partners look to him to provide a male figure in their lives.
