Thursday, September 29th, 2011The nominations have been released for the 21st Annual Environmental Media Awards, and the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “Fracked” is one of three nominees in the “Television Episodic Drama” category. The other nominees are fellow CBS drama The Good Wife (“Real Deal”) and ABC’s Body of Proof (“Broken Home”).
Zuiker Sells FBI Drama To ABC
Thursday, September 29th, 2011CSI Files previously reported that CSI creator Anthony Zuiker signed a first-look deal with ABC. According to Deadline.com, Zuiker has sold his first project to the network. Chameleon is an FBI drama which centers around an undercover agent who is a master of disguise. Zuiker will serve as executive producer alongside Andrea Berloff, who will pen the pilot script.

‘CSI’ Wins The Hour, But Ratings Dip In Week 2
Thursday, September 29th, 2011The second episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s twelfth season took the top spot on Wednesday, September 28. “Tell Tale Hearts” pulled in 11.65 million viewers, which was down nearly a million from the season premiere last week. However, this was still enough to beat competitors Revenge (8.55 million) and Law & Order: SVU (7.14 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, CSI earned the same score as the premiere: a 3.1 rating/8 share. This put it ahead of Revenge (2.8/7) and SVU (2.0/5).

Harnois Fulfills Dream Of Working With Danson
Wednesday, September 28th, 2011CSI: Crime Scene Investigation newcomer Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody) knew co-star Ted Danson (DB Russell) before she joined the hit crime drama. She went to college with Danson’s stepdaughter, and she met the man several times over the years. “I remember the first time I met him, I looked at him and had that nerdy moment as a young actor thinking, ‘Oh, man. I hope someday, I get to work with you,’” Harnois told Zap2It. “And sometimes, the secret works: You put something out in the universe, and it happens.”
