Interview: Omar Benson Miller

Two episodes remain in CSI: Miami’s ninth season, and as always the show plans on closing the season with a bang. With the penultimate episode, “G.O.”, set to air tomorrow night, series star Omar Benson Miller, who plays art-theft specialist Walter Simmons, previews the final two episodes of the season, his growing friendship with Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo), and more with CSI Files’ Shane Saunders.

‘CSI:NY’ Ratings Dip Again, Key Demo Remains Steady

The latest episode of CSI: New York, “Nothing for Something”, earned the top spot on Friday, April 29. The series pulled in 9.19 million viewers, which is down from the previous episode, and a 1.7 rating/5 share in the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers. This put the Big Apple-based crime drama ahead of the first hour of ABC’s 20/20 special William & Catherine: A Modern Fairytale (6.65 million, 1.5/5). The first hour of NBC’s Dateline shared third and fourth place with FringeDateline (4.79 million) had more viewers than Fringe (3.49 million), but Fringe (1.3/4) scored higher in the key demo than Dateline (1.1/4). Supernatural on the CW rounded out the hour with 1.94 million viewers and 0.9/3 among adults 18-49.

‘CSI’ Takes First In Viewers, Fourth In The Demo

The latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “Father of the Bride”, shared the top spot on Thursday, April 28. The series pulled in 10.53 million viewers, which was enough to put it ahead of Grey’s Anatomy (10.32 million), Bones (9.81 million), an hour of The Office (8.13 million) and Nikita (1.74 million) on the CW. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, CSI earned a fourth-place finish with a 2.3 rating/6 share for the hour. Steve Carell’s last episode of Office came in first with 4.1/11, followed by Grey’s (3.6/9), Bones (2.8/8), CSI and Nikita (0.6/2).

Interview: Louise Lombard

After an abrupt departure back in season eight, Louise Lombard returns as Sofia Curtis in a new capacity: deputy chief. In this exclusive interview with CSI Files’ Shane Saunders, Lombard speaks out about returning to the show after nearly four years, her part in the Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin) investigation, and her future involvement with the show.

Harnois Promoted To ‘CSI’ Regular

As CSI Files previously reported, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation cast Elisabeth Harnois (Miami Medical) in a guest-starring role for the May 5 episode, “Cello and Goodbye”. She will play Morgan Brody, a young woman with a connection to a member of the Las Vegas Crime Lab. According to Deadline.com, CBS has decided to increase the actress’s role, making her a series regular on the crime drama.
