GTECH G2 Develops ‘CSI’ Casino Games

GTECH G2 signed a multi-year licensing agreement with CBS Consumer Products to create online casino games based on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. “Everybody loves a great mystery complete with fingerprints, DNA traces and characters with shady alibis. No wonder CSI is an international sensation,” said GTECH G2 Gaming Product Vice President Dominic Mansour. “Thanks to our agreement with CBS Consumer Products, we can incorporate the intrigue and suspense of CSI within our interactive games to thrill game players and CSI fans throughout the world.”

Court Rejects Defamation Suit Against CBS Over ‘CSI’ Episode

Haskell Returns To ‘CSI’ In May

Veasey Joins ‘Ringer’ As Showrunner

According to the Futon Critic, CSI: New York executive producer Pam Veasey will serve as executive producer and showrunner for the CBS drama pilot Ringer. Sarah Michelle Gellar stars in the pilot, which revolves around a young woman named Bridget Cafferty. Bridget is on the run from the mob, and she decides to take over the life of her twin sister Siobhan Marx—until she discovers that Siobhan is also in trouble. Ringer also stars Tara Summers, Ioan Gruffudd, Mike Colter and Nestor Carbonell. Veasey will serve as executive producer alongside Peter Traugott. Richard Shepard will direct the pilot, which was co-written by Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder.

Vassey Visits ABC’s ‘Castle’

According to TVLine.com, former CSI: Crime Scene investigation actress Liz Vassey (Wendy Simms) will guest-star on the ABC crime series Castle later this year. The episode, which is scheduled to air in the spring, will feature Vassey as a real estate broker who gets caught up in a deadly pizza feud.
