Freelance writer Teddy Wayne said the episode bore a striking resemblance to an article he wrote nine months before for Radar Online. In reality, time constraints forced the Miami crew to utilize an older stunt man for the scenes in which Memmo was masked. For an authentic look, Make-Up Department Head Cheri Montesanto went the extra mile. “When the older man worked,” she explained, “in order make it look like he was wearing a mask, I used a silicone based make-up.”
